She might just want more money.  There was a big to-do about Gary Oldman not signing for Order of the Phoenix, but that all worked out.

It's called "negotiations" AKA "holding-out-for-more-money".  Smart young woman. Would you believe 4 million pounds per movie?

I think Emma will sign in the end.  I can't see WB letting her go.  Can you imagine having Dan and Rupert and a new Hermione for the final two Harry films? It just wouldn't work.  There is no way that they would let that bond be broken.  I think it would be really unappealing to have a new actress in the role...and I think WB is very well aware of that fact.

Whatever the extra money she wants, give it to her, I say. The amount of money WB will make from the last 2 movies from her already established fan base and the entire HP fan base in general will make the raise seem like peanuts.

My whole thing is I hope she (or her agent) is smart enough to realize that its far better to be known as the "harry potter girl" than the girl who screwed over the Harry Potter movies by not appearing in the final two.

Very true.  There's also the Saturday Night Live "syndrome."  Actors have great success, quit the show for a movie career, then that career flops.

LOL If she was to walk away with around $4 Mill for the next 2 movies then in reality she woudn't have to work again, she would be set for life  Grin  Plus then there would be all the sponsership deals she could laugh all the way to the bank  ROFL!

That is exciting!

I should have posted this earlier, but last week, I was watching the G4 network on TV, and there is one show that has TV and game news scrolling across the bottom.  It said that Emma Watson's agent says that the rumors of her not doing the last two films were false, and that she would be back for both.

I haven't been online much lately, so sorry for not mentioning that sooner Embarrassed
