My dealer shipped my order yesterday, and it has got international dispatch at 7.33am Sanfransico time, I wonder why though it takes 2 days to arrive here in the UK, when it only takes a maximum of 9 hours flight time, does the planes go via austrailia??

You need to take into account time spent at the US facility where the parcels are sorted by country, the number of flights carrying mail to the UK on that particular day, and the time it takes for parcels to be sorted and scanned at the UK facility. It isn't as simple as hopping on a plane and picking up your luggage at the baggage claim at the end of the flight.

Well, 7pm is still Thursday ... Tom - thanks for clarifying things for us. It sounds like different people have interpreted what you've told them in slightly different ways which would account for the variation in what they think you've said and what you've actually told them. Such is human nature I guess ...

This set looks wonderful. I like the new look of the verticle cards. If anyone sees a last number card from this set on ebay, please send me a PM. I appreciate it!

the scans of the daily prophet cards i've seen on ebay look strange, the picture of the prophet on the card is blurred out, which ruins the card for me. Also, the picture looks like it may be from a behind the scenes photo i recall seeing a long time ago. I love the daily prophet cards, and hope the pictures i'm seeing on ebay arent all like that !

I see what you mean ECL, the Prophet McGonagle is holding definetly looks blurred out...very strange that Artbox would choose a photo like that to put on the card.

Part of the headline is blurred out on the card. There must have been some contractual reason for Warner Bros. to require this, maybe because the headline was revealing part of the plot that they didn't want released prior to the movie (which is why update sets are produced). I'm a bit baffled about why Artbox would produce two Daily Prophets for the set when they could have had one for OOTP and the other for OOTPU.
For those who have seen the movie, can anyone verify whether the picture on the card appears in the movie?

I have just checked my status of my tracking on the parcel force website and its arrived here in the UK tonight but awaiting customs charging :'( does anyone in the UK know how long it will take to hear from parcel force about the charge bearing in mind the postal strike today. Also I think this set looks great, and really looking forward to receiving my cases

Well, you can refer back to the replies to your post with the same question about the delivery of your 3D boxes. http://www.theyakshack.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,4989.200.htmlAs for the postal strike, I don't think anyone on the forum can answer how it will affect various aspects of delivery, other than to say it will probably take longer.

I don't remember that scene!! Nor do I remember the scene on the other Prophet card either!! Yes I remember it, it was only a brief shot of McG reading the paper towards the end of the movie.

That explains some things. The headline reads that Voldemort has returned, and that must have been plot info WB didn't want released prior to the movie (remember that this set was originally supposed to ship earlier than it did). This should also confirm that the newspaper used is different than the one used for the P10 Daily Prophet prop. Thanks, Trey!

Thanks Cindy. Yes your Parcelforce bill will be sent (first class) which will now be delayed by the strike. I'm sorry about that Potter as lots of us in the UK got our cases a week ago

I must have been talking to my youngest at that time! I totally missed it!! Well, guess that means I have to go watch it again!!! It was very quick...where they ran through a few scenes of the aftermath of his return being made public..it was on the screen for about 15 seconds But of course its such a vital part you will have to see the whole movie again
