OK OK so we're six months too early, but as pictures etc. emerge maybe we can start to get excited about potential props etc. We've had quite a few 'filler' sets lately (updates, Memorable Moments, even Chamber seemed to be something of a non-event and HP3D generally cries "GIMMICK" at me), so instead I'm going to look forward to this one. OK, I unashamedly admit that I'm a geek, It's always so exciting to go to see a movie (for the first time) and think "ooh I have a piece of that" - "ooh I know what that's like close up"... I don't know why but this makes card collecting more lively for me, so I'll be looking forward to the OOTP set Obviously if we get any REAL info we can post it in here too P.S. I haven't seen another topic on this, but if there is one Cindy please feel free to merge

I don't recall there being another OOTP thread, so let's run with this one! I am VERY excited about this set. The book is my second favorite (behind POA). There are so many possibilities for cards! First off, we need...a SIRIUS costume! There weren't any in POA, POAU, or MM. It's long overdue. His main costume appears to have a jacket, shirt, vest, and trousers. Surely, Artbox should be able to acquire at least one of the pieces. In addition to returning characters, we'll see Tonks, Kingsley, a variety of witches and wizards who are members of the Order, Luna, Umbridge, and Bellatrix. There was no Moody costume in GOF or GOFU, so that would be nice, too. All of them would make great autos, too. I think it's a no-brainer that Gary Oldman will sign for either OOTP or OOTPU (yes, I know that won't be until November or so). Who wants a Helena Bonham-Carter auto? Me! It's hard to say at this point what props will be in the movie, but we should have Umbridge's nasty quill, her decrees (if they're made of paper), a number of dark wizard items from Grimmauld Place, maybe items from the Room of Requirements, and the Veil. By the way, the last I heard was that this set would be released in June.

Who wants a Helena Bonham-Carter auto? MEMEME! She's brilliant Why is it that the first thing i thought of when i saw this picture is "WOW look at that, the prop-card possibilities!", i just love the details here, the jars, the potion labels (they look better in the original HQ picture), wouldn't it be great to have something from this set .

I went to sleep last night listening to the OOTP which was kindly being read to me by Stephen Fry himself ... when I woke up this morning I was on chapter 5 I think I'd best start again, I barely remember anything after the sound of someone apparating and JK's sarcasm about Dudley and "having tea with friends". When this book was first released I was out of the country and I remember ringing home and trying to glean as much info about the book from Mark. He said "erm... I haven't got far but Dudley's now a thug..." I couldn't believe it - it made me laugh outloud . Yes yes, we really need a Sirius costume. I hope Gary will sign again, but no doubt he'll only sign a few, he's always a rare one (e.g. Batman begins, PoA, GoF). Helena Bonham Carter has signed for a few things and even for Artbox before so if we keep our fingers crossed maybe we'll be in luck. I want a Tonks' hair prop P.S. Cindy - good choice of favourite book

In addition to the Sirius Costume card I also think we are way overdue for a Snape costume as well. :'( I know several members addressed how protective Allen Rickman is of his image but i doubt that he is so protective as to not have at least one costume given for use by artbox. His autograph is also well over due. Even Maggie Smith did an autograph card. I doubt that he is so protective as to not do an auto card. If he is to busy that is one thing but to outright no do one because of "image" I find that hard to believe. How long would it take for him to sign 50 cards anyway? At least if not for the OOTP he has to do one for HBP - Snape has a huge role in this one and I bet an even bigger one in DH. I am confident that by the end of movie seven I will have an auto and a costume card for Snape.

I hope you're right Edith , imagine the HBP set without Alan Rickman's and Tom Felton's autos :'(. I'm also confident Edith that you will have Snape's auto and costume !!!! along with 4 more auto cards of Warrick Davis !!!!!!!!!! They will probably leave him out of HBP + DHallows, I'm sure that wouldn't stop Artbox anyway which is great for those collecting his auto cards.

Yay we want more Warwick Davis stuff The props I would love to have probably won't exist :'(. I really want something to do with Kreature and the photo of the Black family he carries around. Does anyone know if House Elves are in this film? Another great prop would be the list of Dumbledores Army, the one they all sign and Hermione curses . Actually it would be great to have coin cards in this set. I am not a great fan of them but as this is how DA is summoned they would fit in perfectly. Oh and how about the lines Harry writes in blood This should be a brilliant set

I know for a fact Alan Rickman will sign autographs. I have two autographed photos of him. One from the Sorcerer's Stone in his classroom, and one from the Chamber of Secrets. That one is a group photo of McGonagal, Snape, Sprout, and Richard Harris as Dumbledore. Everyone but Spout has autographed it.

I hope even half of these props make it to the set! Oh, must save money....must save money!

I received an email stating that the OOTP set has been pushed back till the end of June. But no confirmed date. Still looks like it will be out before the movie!

I know they're not the same as the autograph cards, but I thought you'll might like to see what Alan Rickman and Tom Felton's autographs look like.

Very cool. There's a pic around here of a Tom Felton auto I got when he came to Collectormania, He said then that he'd signed some cards of some sort, but they never emerged. He didn't know if they were artbox though...

Either he's being blonde or doesn't need the money to bother remembering who he's signed for! Really cool signed pics there Terry, thanks for sharing. Just goes to show how poor some of the signatures actually are on the cards when you compare them to these. I know, I know ... I shouldn't expect too much given how many each person was given to sign, but if people like Robert Hardy, Richard Griffiths Stan Ianevski and Warwick Davis can sign as consistently as we've seen them do, then that argument doesn't hold true does it?

That's interesting...I wonder what cards he means? Do you think Artbox could have gotten him to sign early for a set and they are holding them back for a future set release? (As I am asking this, I seriously doubt it, but I thought I would ask just the same ).

I thought I remember that Tom was supposed to sign for one of the past sets, and then it never happened or something. Maybe he did sign for them and maybe they are holding out. Just doesn't make sense since each set seems to have its own background for the autos. Hey, maybe he signed for OotP.
