On March 6, Bonhams will be auctioning many movie and TV costumes, including the gray linen overcoat worn by Gary Oldman in POA.  The auction house will allow potential bidders the opportunity to try on some of the items (that sounds like fun Smiley ).  Could this be Artbox's chance at finally getting a Sirius Black costume? Wink

Why don't we get it?

I have a pal who works for Bonhams (he went in on some kind of Grad job) so I'd be ok for finding out the ropes.... Hmmmm... interesting Grin.

Artbox should definitely buy it but I perhaps it will go for more money than they normally pay for their items.

Hmm...take up a collection...win the coat...send it on a Yak World Tour...then send it to Artbox for a YakShack exclusive costume card.

I'm up for it! Cheesy Wink

Here are two studio promotional shots that show the overcoat:

Yes, but would that coat have 12 years of Azkaban dirt rubbed into it? Wink

Bonham's now has an online catalog of the items that will be auctioned on March 6.  Many of the items don't have photos, but quite a few do, including Dr. Who, many James Bond movies, several Kenneth Branagh costumes, and an Orlando Bloom costume, too.  Here's the link to the Sirius Black coat:

They have costumes from Patrick Troughton, John Pertwee, Tom Baker (complete with scarf, but it was for a traveling exhibit and not worn for the show), Weng Chainag, Peter Davison, Sylvester McCoy, and a couple more.  Please try this link and search for "Dr. Who.". Smiley

I missed this earlier, but they also have part of the Madam Hooch costume.

Bonhams is holding the auction right now.  The complete Tom Baker Dr. Who outfit sold for £20,500. Shocked  It looks like the HP and Star Wars auctions haven't hit the block yet.
