Now you see I don't actually get the whole concept of "low fat spam".... the whole thing is basically just a big old can of fat, and so what do they do? Put it in a smaller can and call it low fat?

it could be that while they are cooking it they skim some of the fat of the top so it is lower in fat ( or so they say )

But why wouldn't they skim the fat off in normal Spam? It doesn't add any aesthetic/nutritional value for sure - it's disgusting... sorry Sam, but I can't stand the stuff

you have to fry it first to see how much disgusting fat clogs up your arteries and then you skim it off the pan, you laythe spam pieces on napkins to soak all the excess lard (do this fast before it congeals( )-imagine what that looks in your capillaries...before you munch on it... high calorie, high fat esp for those who need it.

Sam you ought to become the spokesman for Spam or at least get a commission for your valiant defense of their product!!

I agree! We should all have a forum get-together in the future and sample the exquisite tastes of different countries brought together! No offense, but I think I will skip on the spam-sushi
