Ok, what was your favorite gift this Christmas?  Given or received.  I'll start.

My favorite received was a pocket knife I got from my husband.  Weird?  Maybe, but it's so cool!  He got it in Montana.

Favorite of my girls:
Jordan 7 - Air launching Ang and Appa (Avatar, last airbender)
Kendall 3 - Play Doh activity center

Favorite given: One of the things I gave my dad was a McFarlane football figure that I custom painted to look like him in his high school uniform.  He was thrilled!

My favorite gift hasn't arrived yet -- two boxes of COS. Smiley

My son -- Super Mario and Luigi plush dolls.  He's been hugging them non-stop and blurting out, "Thank you Santa!"
My daughter -- Nickelodeon Scene It.  We've played it twice already and love it more each time (now I want the Disney and Harry Potter versions Roll Eyes ).

Favorite given -- Both of the above gifts given to the kids, because they love them so much. Smiley  The 15-inch, working replica of R2D2 I gave my husband is good, too. Smiley

My favourite gift was my teapot handbag.

I got my mum a great dance DVD that I hadn't heard about until Amazon showed it to me.

Ah, this one is simple.  My favorite gift received was a Bearded Dragon. Yes, a real live lizard (whom I have named Norbert). I promise to get pictures up really soon. My brother got me this, with approval from my husband.

My favorite gift given was one of those stuffed animals that is dipped in candle wax to smell really nice in the house.  It was a skunk.  You might ask why.  Well, my in-laws have had two run ins with skunks.  The first time was in Arizona where my Mother-in-Law was sprayed (right before her Niece's wedding).  Then, about 6 years later (this past October), her Nephew was getting married and the night before, a skunk sprayed their black lab (I saw this happen), so we got them the skunk, and a stuffed skunk for their dog ROFL!  I just think it was a funny gift given the circumstances.

Best gift received, well there were many fab ones, but one of the best is tickets to see the RSC production of King Lear next year in Stratford upon Avon... needless to say this stars none other than IAN McKELLEN, so I'm very excited Grin

The best gift I gave is not so exciting in itself, but more to do with the reaction it got. I gave a DAB radio to my father, a very posh top of the range Roberts radio which he was just over the moon with Smiley

Stratford is definitely THE best place to see Shakespeare performed and seeing Lear with Gandy Ian in the lead role will make it doubly special - hope it's a good production!  Praying Grin
I saw Donald Sinden playing the lead role at Stratford x-number of years ago and he was summat else!  Wink Grin

Thanks Jules, I can't wait Smiley I was originally planning to buy my own tickets but they didn't become available until September and that was about the most manic month of my life so far, so it went on the backburner Sad I'm just glad that Mark was paying attention Roll Eyes Grin

I must re-read King Lear before I go, I don't think I've read it since School (slapped wrists)

I received some gorgeous MM cards from the boys (AKA Bogleg and Martin) but I don't want to risk switching Boggys scanner on, it is very temperamental.  My Ci1  has three large words on it (two of them are THE) and my Ci3 has loads of writing  Grin.  The most additive present was a PS2 game called Dragon Quest - in fact it is so additive I haven't even opened Kingdom Hearts II which I have been looking forward to for ages.

The funniest thing in our house was some Christmas crackers I bought which contained racing brussel sprouts  ROFL!.  I thought they might raise a little snicker but my dad got really competitive and couldn't stop laughing, but I think they may have had more to do with the large whisky he had just drunk than the sprouts  Roll Eyes

Oh and my mum looked at me as if I were mad when I gave her the DVD of Snakes on a Plane - I think she thinks it is some sort of documentary  Wink

My little sister seemed to be happy with her booty. She is worth everything she gets.

My dad with the racing sprouts had to be seen to be believed  Grin As usual, he thought he'd been nobbled as his one kept going in circles  Grin Grin

As Sharon said, I also think my mum is waiting for Steve Irwin or David Attinborough to pop up  ROFL!
