Well, roz usually has the eye of an eagle and spots interesting auctions, usually bargains or way over priced items.

I have no auction to show any of you right now, but if you see an auction which is shocking, such as a pear tree leaf card, or a george weasley costume card on £99 then post it here so we can see these auctions.

Or if you just want to point out a bargain...post them here, please   Wink

* What to title do you use to search for these cards, autos, costumes, props etc on ebay?  Huh

with LOTR i found it easy. Type LOTR auto card or LOTR autograph card, FORT auto card so on so forth..

I need some help with what write in the search bar...anybody please?  :'(

Unless I'm looking for a specific card, I've been using :

Harry Potter (for all) plus either -  auto* card / costume card / prop card

This should cover all the bases at the moment, the problem of course being that as soon as the next cards are issued you will need to factor in Azkaban / Sorcerer / Chamber etc etc

You must look at this. I saw on the topps board a post saying it is impossible to know whether a packet has a costume or auto in it, as the costume cards are alot thinner and they take out a few cards in that packet to make the packet seem the standard size.

This guy seems to know beyond artbox's tricks..what do you think?

Is the auction reliable?

1. No, you can't tell which packs have an auto / costume / prop card. As you correctly say, the quantity of base cards is adjusted accordingly.

2. £17 !!!!! For a pack !!!!! Of 8 cards !!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked
I'm off to put a deposit down on a flat with my sealed cases if this is the prices on the way.

I'm not surprised 'cos it's out friend from Japan that's bidding. The man with the deepest pockets I've seen in some time. My only concern is I think he's paying more than would be absolutely necessary for a lot of items. If he only left his bidding to the last moment, he would save a fortune.

Not HP I know, but $275 is almost an extortionist amount for a TT merry
I Know I paid less for both a TT Eowyn and Legolas, both of which are rarer and in more demand! If you looks at their ebay store, you see they have listed a Gimli as less than the Merry and a FOTR arwen as less than a TT one! Sellers need to do some more research and stop wasting their listing fees!

I think that price is actually quite good, Hermione's auto has gone for $450+  Shocked and Sirius/Dumbledore/Lupin for at least $200. Just seen a BIN on a Hermione auto for 375 pounds. $670 US or a grand in my lil' currency  Shocked

So - decent price. Couldn't afford it though Sad

And that TT Legolas went for $565. 3x what I paid. Crazy  Roll Eyes

Hold onto your Legolases people!
