Well have just spent a very enjoyable evening with Mrs Orc at the London Palladium watching the Rat Pack Christmas Special  Grin  I dont know how many of you are Sinatra, Dino or Sammy D fans but I certainly am  Cool  I went to see the original show when it came out and was thoroughly entertained but tonight was even better.
The songs and routines were superb as was the band and set, but the best bits were the spontaniouse moments between the 3 main cast members, I was in tears of laughter  ROFL! I would like to thank Mrs Orc for such a wonderful early Xmas gift  Praying  and I hope you guy's dont mind me sharing this with you all  Grin

Woah Steve, that sounds great. I love Sinatra/Swing of an evening, especially at Christmas time.

I've never been to the London Palladium, is it nice?

Roz In my opinion it is one of the nicer London Theaters, my only problem (and this goes for most of the others) is that the seating rows are slightly to close together, they seem to have forgoten that people are larger now  ROFL! ROFL!  The decor is very victorian, lots of Golds and vibrant colours  Grin but last night there was not a lot of chance to realy observe it as it was packed to the rafters Grin  The bar area has been modernised though and they do come round with Ice Cream during the Interval  Angel  We recently went to see Dame Judy Dench In 'Hay Fever' at the Haymarket, now that is a lovely theater inside & it is comfertable  Grin  They are realy worth a try if you have never been.
