here's someone you can see:

Also on August 1, Lawrence Makoare (the actor who played “Lurtz” – the chief Orc the first film and "Gothmog" and "The Witch King" in the third movie) will be at the Museum of Science from 7 – 9 a.m. Get an autograph on a FREE Lord of the Rings poster or get your photo taken with the big Orc!

Gee that's tomorrow when the Exhibition opens!  I think it is going to be mobbed there!  As my tickets are for a week from tomorrow it will be interesting to see the activity level.

Hey Ed - any luck with your idea of making the trip up here to see the Exhibition?

we're going to try. i'll try to attend a conference in the vicinity, maybe aimee can go too...

how do the timed tickets work?

fyi, sean astin is going to do a book signing in NYC barnes and noble for his new book-there and back again-a hobbit's tale" on october 13.

depends on what happens i will try to make it one trip for both but may have to be two trips...kinda expensive...

From what I understand you start your tour of the Exhibition at a prescribed time based on your ticket.  I assume you only have so much time to go through and view everything.  This is due to the high number of people attending and I guess they do not want people loitering around and taking forever to go through.

Maybe Roz or Mark can add to this as they both attended the Exhibition in London.

Well the organisation may be different.

When I went I had heard that it was timed and that we would be rushed through. That was not so at all. We had as much time as we wanted to stare at sketches, admire cosumes, watch videos etc etc.

Smiley

And they even had equipment to make me Hobbit size and Mark Wizard size and then vice versa... on film at least  Tongue

That's good news Roz, I hope the same holds for Boston.  Only 5 days to go before I get to see the show!  Smiley
