Can one of the proud owners of these cards let us know what they feel like.  Weird request I know but they were supposed to be a type of parchment.  Is this thicker than normal card?

Between me and Bitsy we will have a description CSI would be proud of  Wink ROFL!

ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! So help me when the UPS truck comes tomorrow--I think I just might scare the wits out of the driver--poor thing.  Roll Eyes

You know, I really love the regular boxes.  I am so, so glad that they put them in something special, rather than have them be the same as the previous sets.  Maybe now distributors won't have to field too many complaints about people not getting resin boxes  Praying--I really think the regular ones are lovely.

It's kind-of cool that you'll probably get them for Halloween--what a fun one that will be! Probably means good luck, too!  Praying  Wink

The base cards are just a hair thicker than the previous HP cards.  Here's a scan of the first 9 cards of the set.  The face of the base cards have gold foil all around it (the darker corner filigrees and lettering on the cards are gold foil).  The front of the card is a matte finish and the backs are glossy.  The matte cardstock feels like regular paper.

The seller is clever and i would do the same, placing a very high BIN. He had last time luck with early Dan and Quad auctions and maybe he has it again, there's always anyone... But waiting with buying would be clever, too. Wink I won't forget that the first Whomping Willow sold for $1,500, much later for less than $100.  Cool

Look at this nice PC4!

This auction has two of the missing cards.  Any guess what the bottom one is?
