There is an article in the October 2 Newsweek that says Emma is considering NOT doing the last two movies   She still is undecided.  There is also an interview with her here:

I dont think so, I think it's because she see's Dan and Rupert making other movies which makes her want to branch out and do the same.

Yeah well they are working around it. Although remember she is the youngest the other two can work on other things as they will now be able to work longer hours.

I can't imagine anyone other than Emma playing Hermione.  It would be a real let down if she backed out.  I understand that she wants to branch out and I certainly don't blame her for that.  But, if you think about it, with only two movies left to make, and at her young age, she will be not only financially set for life, but she will most certainly have made film history.  What young person wouldn't want that combo?  You know how many 16 year olds there are out there who would jump at the opportunity she has resting in the palm of her hand? I just hope she sees it.
