Bit of a joke realy isnt it, I sent a Item off to Canada using 'International Signed For' (Royal Mail) under the impression it was trackable and I could check on line to see if it had been signed for LOL Silly me it was only trackable until it left the country and as a person for the RM over here said 'I am sure they will sign for it at the other end'  ROFL! ROFL!  Thankfuly it was going to a mate Grin

With International Signed For to the US you can't track it en route, but once it's been delivered it will show up on the USPS site.

I'm not sure about Canada though, but I daresay it will be the same Smiley

Canada Post site is the same...I use the U.S post service when it's from there just to see when it crosses the border then switch to Canada Post to track the parcel

Keep us posted.  If there ends up being proof of delivery with that number, I will definitely go back to PayPal and raise a stink about it.  Of course, that doesn't help me on the current auctions...    Undecided

It worked!  I entered the PayPal/USPS-generated tracking number on the Canada Post website and sure enough, it shows the item as being delivered today!  I'm really happy about this.  I don't know if this works for other countries, but at least now I know I can ship Global Priority to Canada and get tracking.

The only thing I noticed is that PayPal/USPS requires the recipient's phone number when you fill out the the info to ship.  Not everyone wants to give out their number.
