Crazy Autograph Prices

There must be something in the water, cos LOTR auto prices seem to be going up again!

A FOTR Legolas went for $au440, a TT Legolas $au410 (the highest ive seen in a loooong time  ). FOTR Aragorn $au230..... and all by the same person too, they must have really deep pockets.

They were quite steep! The Elrond went very high considering it had a dinged corner too!!!

A lot of those autos (Gimli, Elrond etc) hadn't been on ebay for a long time, and Jo and I painfully remember spending more than AU$440 for our FOTR Leggys

440's not bad for the FOTR Leggy (I remember them hitting the 600 mark), but its quite a bit for the TT card; and the fact it was the same buyer for at least three of the cards is insane.

Yeah - and I've just seen that the TT Merry was $275, that's a bit crazy - it's even cheaper than that in ebay shops!

Aye, that I remember well $440 is OK for a FOTR, but $410Au is nuts for a TT Legolas - there are a couple in the Ebay shops that are alot cheaper.

Yeah - and I've just seen that the TT Merry was $275, that's a bit crazy - it's even cheaper than that in ebay shops!

I once sold a TT MErry for around that price... definitely didn't expect it to go that high! I guess some people really want those cards

The Fotr Legolas in my collection is still the luckiest pull i've had, I bought four retail packs from a box in 2001 for about 11 US dollars and pulled the Legolas.  I'm still amazed to this day because usually i'm not very lucky with pulls!
