I guess you got more than one PM for that. You reached your PM-limit of 100 and have to delete some of them, my last PM couldn't get delivered.

And for everyone: i know that the set is sold (not to me), no more PMs necessary. Wink

And I'm the one buying them off Edith... very grateful for the chance too!

Reason all the tie sets sold - seems 5 went to the same bidder - who already has a tie set in his/her store...  At least I counted 5 to the same bidder before my computer rebooted.  Stupid rainstorms!  (note that I LIKE rain, especially since Georgia is having a bit of a drought this year, but it didn't have to knock out my electricity while it was raining)

No, 200 sets is not a lot.  Think of all the Harry Potter fans and collectors there are all over the world.  Now think, only 200 of them have the chance to own this set.  If you think about it, there are 200 of each card, which makes 800 cards, but since they are only being sold as a set, you need to think of it like one of the rare prop cards from another set limited to 200.  They become harder to find faster, and cost a a lot more.  Although 200 seems like a high number, there are way more Harry Potter fans out there.  And remember, most sold at SDCC.  Tom got a few of them to sell, but chances are, most of these sets are now in homes of peiople who want to keep them as a collection, so there will be even fewer on eBay for others to get.

And when you are all talking about 10 sets going go the same person, are you talking about the ones Tom got a hold of.  Did someone buy 10 sets from him?  I am so confused.

One person BINed a bunch of Tom's Tie sets.  I'm assuming the buyer is dealer because a collector doesn't need that many sets in their collection. Roll Eyes

Just for your info, 3 boxes postage to me in Singapore is US$52 and I expect it will be the same to Australia since both countries are in the same region.

I would have loved to get one of these Mistery boxes from SDCC and i still want one. Problem is, the boxes were never sealed by Artbox so there's the possibility of a seller swapping cards or taking out the expensive cards (like that awesome Krum wand Jon pulled from one of these boxes)  Undecided.

Yup, it's a matter of trust, which I don't find a problem in the case of the seller I bought mine from, this is definitely not the sort of item you can buy from someone you don't trust.

I've had word from Tom that he has a couple of tie sets still available himself, so if you want one you can get in touch either through this forum (send a PM to member - TomUnique), you can contact him through the "ask seller a question" facility on ebay, or email him direct if you know his address Smiley

Here are his current SDCC ebay items

Hmm, so the binders weren't sealed too, right? Any seller can just see what the prop card is? Hmm.................I would really be disappointed if my 3 boxes were all tent props. Sad

If you purchased your boxes from the same person as me (which I think you did), you don't have to worry about being cheated.  It is entirely possible, though, that you could get three of the same jumbo props.  It's just luck of the draw.

When people start receiving their mystery boxes, please don't forget to post in the breakdown thread.  It's located in the Leaky Cauldron section. Smiley

Hopefully, it will arrive this week and I will post the breakdowns.
