Just a word of warning for anyone looking at buying one of the ComicCon 2006 Exclusive

Lost 6 Card Dharma Initiative sets.

Check with the seller that all the cards are there!

It is a six card sealed set with a 1 in 10 chance of getting a rare variant No4 card in place of the standard "No4 Card"

BUT many of the packs sold at ComicCon were errors and contained NO No5 CARD.  This was not mentioned to buyers, and as many of the sets will be sold sealed there is a chance you will buy an incomplete set!

Here is a picture of the complete set showing the Standard 4 + Extra 4 and the missing 5 card  (Without the 5 you cannot make up the 6 card picture back!)

Cheers

Inkworks has addressed this issue on Card Talk - http://nonsportupdate.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/955604453/m/4031009771

Bottom line - it was an error that Inkworks had no knowledge of (that there was no #5 in these packs) and contact Inkworks Customer Relations if you received one of these packs so they can work on getting you a #5.

Apparently the idea was for some packs to have #4 & others to have variant #4.  All packs were to have a #5.

Yes They will replace the #5 where they can,

but my suggestion was that as many of the packs are being sold unopened on Ebay etc, it was an indication to buyers that there is a problem with a lot of the packs, and that they should be aware of it,

Lets face it Inkworks will not have an unlimited supply of the corrected cards,  They were short of the #5 at the show and were opening packs themselves in the hopes of finding #5s for people who had problems.

So unless they plan on reprinting extra #5s I would doubt there will be enough to go around.

Its just that getting a faulty pack can be especially frustrating for buyers outside the US who then have to go thru the rigmorole of having to try and get it corrected.

I got four packs, and three had the two #4's. But the other one had two copies of the (thought to be rare) Dr. Mark Pearl variant. I'm not sure yet whether I was lucky or unlucky.  Roll Eyes

And thanks Error401 for posting the pics of the whole set, so I know what #5 looks like for the checklist!
