I see, the seller is right here at the moment. Sorry for you, but it's not my fault. I wish, you'll get the same money with later bids. I didn't ask for that (why should i?) and had never expected it. I just wanted to know, if he will continue bidding so much money on every forthcoming auction. It's just what i said, i only told what i posted here before. That i think, prices of later auctions will be lower like it was with every card i know yet. And i still think so, the actual prices are way too high. I never expected such a card would reach $1000, that's strange. The price of the first auction, that's a price who looks much more reasonable for me.

EDIT: I was surprised that there were no more bids on the auctions last night. So he won his first card now. It's slowly, but the prices started to drop now. But what i can say, still a fantastic deal for the sellers, congrats to all of them who were able to get a card at the SDCC.

Watch for my bid retractions on these remaining auctions, don't have time to do it right now, but will be done by this evening USA time. I have to decide which one I want to keep my bid on.

Looks like they'll be fair game for every one who wants a more reasonable price.

Oh, i saw there are more bid retractions from him now. Don't ask me why, i got no hint or something for that. I can only imagine he decided to win only one card (for the moment) and now he has won this card. But it wasn't what he told me when i asked for that, maybe he bids later for another card again, i don't know. For the moment one card seems to be enough. Well, that makes sense, one card is enough for most of the people.

to be fair i retracted all my bids on all the current auctions. I have my eye on one but I'm not saying which one......its a surprise . I may wait until the next card is listed. One of the sellers last night sent me a second offer because he had three. one hes keeping, just sold one on auction, then offered me the 3rd.  so you should see another card listed soon. just emailed him declining the offer. it Toybox or something like that.

Good luck for those that put forth their bids. i would however watch for bizarre to snag at the last minute though.

Sorry for all this bidding mess..... Huh Embarrassed Tongue Lips Sealed Undecided

Wow, these auctions have become very unexpecting! Now it looks like I actually may have a chance at one of these! Hopefully they wont be bid up too high at the last minute.

Probably not, you won a really unique trophy plaque, and Im sure the prices will jump as the auctions come closer to ending.

Jon is right, i'm sure the price will reach your level. There are still people without a card who will pay the price you paid or maybe more. And i agree also with Jon that you have a unique card for a good price. Smiley

"Trophy Plates", that's much better than what's written on the certificate.  Tongue

Thought this might happen.....everybody willing to sell their cards at $1000.00 profit....now with the bidding more normal, not starting off at $1200...they have had a change of plan and probably list it again when there isn't any other listed cards at the same time

I haven't posted much on this topic because I really don't think I can get one of these right now (but of course would love one  Roll Eyes ). But I was getting aggravated at QB trying to buy most of these. Yesterday, I decided to email QB. This is what I asked...

Hi. Just wondering, as a collector. I can't help but to notice that you have bid on many of the HP CC Trophy cards. Why do you need so many? I'm finding it impossible to even try to get one because obviously you'll outbid anyone! Just a little frustrating.

I never received a response. But woke up this morning and saw drastic changes in the auctions.

For a collector, this is good!. (Except for me for the one I liked most sold last night!  Sad )
For a seller this stinks and I apologize if I were the cause.  Sad

I wouldnt blame you Jackie, if you did cause QB to change his mind I'm sure you did everyone a big favor because if there is more Trophy cards in the MM set and the post up CC auctions it's possible you could actually afford to buy one then...

Wouldn't blame you ever Jackie....one person should not control and over inflate almost every card that was up for auction...if he did it to 1 or even 2 fine, he's just being aggresive for a card he really wants...but to every one come on Huh??

Nice to hear that he didn't get only an email from me. And maybe more of others, who knows. Can be the reason why he stopped bidding for all the cards at the moment.  Roll Eyes And i agree with Mo, one person should not control and inflate ...

He sells on eBay and his website.  It wouldn't be good for him to alienate potential customers, especially since his prices are on the high side.

Makes me wonder if he really wanted more than 2 cards in the first place. What if he was only bidding to make the cards "look" expensive so he can resell at $1500+ on his personal website/store?
