First MM card - the SDCC Trophy card - but will it be the same design?

Hey I just noticed that Beetles got promoted from heffer to cow since this morning, I'm tired of being a calf.

Something else to keep in mind. The seller of the first auction that ends this evening. The one that caused a lot of dicussion for using someone elses picture said she bought two cards.

I would be very surprised if she really bought 2 of them. Then she would'n have used the stolen picture. She just wanted to tell us that the card box is still sealed and needed a reason to explain the card on the picture. She has a cam, if she really had a second card, she would have used a pic from that one and not a stolen one. That's what i think.

BTW: I talked with quite bizarre earlier anytime and now i contacted him again. I asked, if he really wants to win more than one card and that i think, he will with all his bids, because the prices will fall in my opinion. I don't want to post the text of his reply, that wouldn't be okay, it was a private email. But i know one thing now. It's almost sure that he won't stop bidding after he won the first auction. He's looking for more than one trophy card sooner or later, probably sooner.  :'(

Tom, have you talked to the other Tom (Tomunique). I asked him he would be getting any of the SDCC cards, he said it would depend on wether they were all sold. I haven't asked him since the comic con show; he might be able to get one from artbox directly since he is one of their largest distributors. There's still 6 not accounted for. And Tomunique is fair with his prices.

All 25 are sold at SDCC, not one is left. The 6 went to anybody else (maybe Warner. Bros.) or Artbox keep some of them like they do ever. So no chance with Tom or anybody else. But maybe 20 to ebay dealers is not too bad. I just have to be patient ...

     Yes, it's what all us women aspire to become...this is the only arena where being called a cow is a compliment.    Hey, ever seen those California Cow commercials?  They are adorably funny!


As for the Trophy cards, they are gorgeous, but my lands, the prices are insane! And it seems that the same person is determined to get multiples.    Tower, I hope you get one.

If the entire trophy was used and with apparently 33 shields per side there are still 101 shields unaccounted for, so hopefully if they are in the actual MM set, Thomas can get one because it is a nice card

BTW - Are the trophy cards heavy?

Well, Tower, it looks like these last two cards are going to be over the top in price as well. fantale7 and quite-bizarr are bidding like they are vital organs they need for survival.

What's going to be funny is that ARTBOX will probably releas about 100 more of them in the MM set. OH MY! Wouldn't that suck-NOT!!!

BTW- Quite Bizarre withdrew his bid on the trophy card I was bidding on - now its at 110 usd.

The only problem about Q.B. retracting the bid, is if he retracts any more of the other bids, is that the next lowest on 3 of them I think is Sweinar ? you'll be the proud owner of 3 of them all at $1000.00 ea....do you need 3

I didn't say anything else than i did here. That i think, the prices will fall later. Of course i can be wrong, who knows. But they must fall, they did with every Potter card i know.

So he seems to be convinced now, it can be a good idea to wait for better prices and not to win all the expensive cards right now. Makes sense if you ask me.
