Some of the COS items might be used for MM.  I also wondered about all of the costumes and props on display.  I guess now it makes sense why MM is delayed until October.  It'll take a month or two to make all of the inserts.

I hope they hold off on COS until February.  A big release just before Christmas may not be a good idea.  I think it would be perfect if MM is released in October, COS in February, and OOTP in June or July.  The sets would be well-spaced and give collectors time to save up for each one.

Hearing these prices there is just NO WAY I could afford any of those....

I thought the $200 from Artbox was a bit high though I'd pay it for one of the Champion Wands Cheesy

4 cards left now. And 4 buyers i know who are willing to pay more than me. So i still have to wait for a chance to get a card for a reasonable price. But i'm still sure, the chance will come.  Praying

I see that 4 of the cards have sold one for $661, plain, and 3 for over $1300.00 each.
One still active that I am watching. Probably be snapped up by firehoarse with a protective bid to keep the prices high for the two he/she bought.

I don't think so. I would be very surprised to see another bid from this buyer. I hope, i'm right.  Tongue

I didn't think of you, so we have now 5 people who are willing to pay more than me. And maybe more anywhere in the world. If i ever get this card?  Roll Eyes

the 4 consistent bidders were
Madcroc
Fantale7
Quite Bizzare
Zadsham62...with Madcroc gone there is only 3 more willing to bid anything bidders left...so the 4th trophy card for auction should be wide open to anyone...and for sure a much lower price than $1300
That's if Firehoarse doesn't go crazy again...#4 could be coming your way Thomas !!!!!!

Unfortunately #4 will definately not go to me. With much luck #6 (so 2 more necessary), not before. And maybe quite-bizarre will look for more than 1 card. So many bids ...  Undecided

Tom,

I'm not to happy with the fact that Bizzare has inflated all the prices on the cards so that those that don't want to spend/or cannot spend over 1200 for one don't have a shot at one  Hopping Mad. a fifth card was listed today. I bidded on it and of course bizzare came back and blew the price over 1100. Hopping Mad  Because he/she is a reseller he will probably go for more than one. Hes bought a couple of cards from me and then sold them on his/her private site or listed them as BIN items in his ebay store Undecided. It seems his cut off price is around 1200. This next auction that ends should go to fantale, I already emailed him and told him I wouldn't bid against him, so unless the buyer Quite Bizzare or Zadsham62 out bids him its his. The other one that ends tonight should go to either Bizzare or Zadsham62 if the later bids.

Hopefully Bizzare will get one tonight and if any new cards are listed that will determine if he is going to go for more than one. Hopefully he won't bid on any more Praying giving others an opportunity to get one at a more reasonable price.

I know i'll get one of the 5 listed. I'm practicing on excersising patience and self control. I really wanted to bid on the Grand finalist card, but decided not to after I sent you that last PM. I had a feeling it was going to go that high.

Edith

On the fifth card just bid over $1200 problem sorted...actually can't figure out why one individual would put bids on everyone listed at $1100....even if he won all 5 how would he resell them and at what kind of profit,,,,,he has to win one of them and then we'll see what his intensions are...if not everyone that gets newly listed is going to be starting bid at $1125 which is insane...is he getting a cut from the dealers?HuhHuh If not he should be

I agree, in my opinion it's a wrong decision to bid so high on so many cards like q.-b. does. And it was a good decision, Edith, to pass for the "grand finalist" card. It makes no sense to pay so much for a card like that. The value will fall too much, i'm still sure.

I still think, about 20 will appear on ebay. It seems that almost all went to dealers, why should they keep them?  Roll Eyes

And the current 5: If zadsham is clever, he (or she) won't bid for the one of fantale (as the current high bidder). Edith should get the last card with her current bid. And the other 3 should go to zadsham and John, if he's still interested. bizarre will get one from auction 2-4, there will be no one, who bids more than he already did. Okay, this only when we won't get surprised from anyone we don't know yet. Or from someone who wants 2 cards like firehoarse.

And then we'll see what happens when "everyone" got his card.  Roll Eyes

Got it fully worked out except this Bizarre person who still insists on bidding on every card that comes up for auction....he must want more than one if he keeps bidding $1100 on every card

You haven't seen the items he has in his non-ebay store. He has some really nice HP items but they are outrageously priced Shocked. I came across it a couple of weeks ago looking for alternative places to get variant cards. ITs called Quite Bizzare Collectables if I remember correctly. Anyway this seller is very patient when it comes to selling items. He bought a GOFU Dumbledore Auto from me a while back and I think he listed it at around 150-200 USD. He got it from me for 70 USD. He also has a bid on my Monolith Trophy card, which he already has one listed in his ebay store for 250-300 USD.

Something else to keep in mind. The seller of the first auction that ends this evening. The one that caused a lot of dicussion for using someone elses picture said she bought two cards. She's not an HP collector so if she did infact get two cards then she may be tempted to sell the other considering the profit she made on this card on auction right now. Also I remember some saying that they got four cards and would be selling them. Has there been four from one seller so far?

You know I was so irritated with this individual that when I saw that he was bidding on my Monolith card I was very tempted to cancel the bid.  My luck with reselling, he'll probably be the only one that bids on it.  Huh At least I was able snag a good S Stone Chocolate frog card from under his nose.

I do not know if the 4 card buyer was real or not, it was some of the he said she said I heard while talking to people at and around the Artbox booth...but it is most definetly possible....think of some of the dealers there at the convention, they have larger tables and numerous people working them, they just say hey, here is $200 go stand in line and buy one and i'll kick you $50 or so.
