more than like Harry.
After reading the whole article, she doesn't want to have any more pople write non-HP stuff.
so, me thinks that Harry will die.
It seems too simple for Voldemort and Harry to both die after fighing.
Plus, that's not JK's style either: she likes more twists and turns.

According to the interview she gave Richard and Judy. One person got a reprieve while two MORE die

Reprieve means to respite (delay/suspend) from impending punishment.. to relieve temporarily from any evil....
Im thinking maybe this has something to do with Snape...or maybe Wormtail...

I dont think she is hinting at killing Harry off...she is just saying that she understands the viewpoint of those that do want to kill off the main character..not that she is necessarily going to go that way.

I know that this is probably WAY too early to predict.....but any guesses on when book 7 will be released? I'm evil, I shouldn't support any more speculation and anticipation for the release date......  We are approaching the one year anniversary release date for book 6 (July 16th I believe). Personally, I don't think we will see it before August of 2007. Hopefully the longer wait will correlate to a thicker book  |

"While discussing his new play Eh Joe, Michael Gambon, who portrays Professor Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movies, commented briefly on his shock of finding out about his character's death in book six and his hope as to what Rowling may do for his character in the last book.
Gambon learned of the demise of his character in book six from a newspaper, and has a request for the author:
It was such a shock. I thought, Jesus Christ. I'm sure if she reads this article, she might think, 'Ah, poor bloke. I'll put him in the seventh book as a ghost.' If she would kindly just put me in there"

In my humble opinion, I feel that of course, Voldemort will be one of the deaths, and the other death will be Professor Snape protecting Harry in the end. :'(

I don't think she can mean Voldemort. "...but I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die." Well, she ever knew the end of this book and so if Voldemort dies or not, she must have planned this a long time ago. I think, it must be somebody else she "didn't intend to die".  |

I also read where she stated that some fans will love the ending, while some will loathe it. I've been trying to decipher whether that means Harry's a goner or not. Perhaps it just means that whoever dies, some fans will be pleased, while others (who are obviously big supporters of the characters) will be devastated. |
