POTC ride in Disney World and Disneyland

Disney is refurbishing its Pirates of the Carribean ride, adding elements from the movies.  Not only will Captain Jack, Barbossa, and Davey Jones appear in the ride, but the actors' voices will be used, as well.  Here are a few pictures.

We're going Saturday!  I can't wait.  The ride may not be ready in Disney World until the movie opens July 7, but I've read that it might have a "soft opening" as early as June 29.  Guess I won't find out for sure until we get there, but I'll definitely be in line for it whatever day it opens during our trip.

Oh have so much fun Cindy!!!!!!!!!!!!!    I wish I could go--I love, love, love Disney! I've always loved the ride and these new additions will only make it that much better!

They look great I saw that pic and thought who the heck is that guy then I realised it was Johnny

That's okay, Dawn.  When I first saw the picture, I thought he was one of the Disney engineers who worked on the ride!

The jeans and the hair sticking out from under the hat kind of threw me.  Then I looked closer and realized that the facial hair was pretty close to Captain Jack.

I'm really looking forward to the trip, and I'll have a full report about the ride when I return.  I've read that Disney is planning in-park events on the 7th, with a Captain Jack actor doing shows throughout the day.  I'd love to get a picture of my kids with him.

The ride update sounds really cool about time they updated the ride to co-inside with the film although I have never been able as of yet to go to Disney World,I have been on the ride in Disney Land (LA) and in Disney Paris.

Be so cool to go on the updated verison and be nice if they updated all the versions of the ride in Paris too as neare for me.
