Thanks for the link.  I just read all the posts there and this set is being killed by almost everyone as the "new" sets will be inferior in quality to the Extended Editions in several aspects.  Read the posts on the link provided to see the problems with these new sets.  No way am I going to shell out close to $30.00 for each "Limited Edition" set when there are only 2 discs and one of them has both the Theatrical and Extended Editions on it with the other a new documentary.  As many have said this is overkill and a money grabbing move by New Line.  And we have not even seen the HD versions yet and The Director's Cut version surely to follow.  How about concentrating on making The Hobbit instead of all these various releases?   Roll Eyes

^ Yes I would be inclined to wait for the HD/Blu Ray versions myself.  I do get sick and tired of this constant re-releasing of DVD's every 12-18 months.  I like the various extra features but I'm not going to buy the same thing again just to get a different documentary or a deleted scene.  They were deleted for a reason!

CD's are the same - greatest hits packages seem to come out every year in time for Christmas but they get crafty by altering the track listing in some small way so people will think it's new and buy it all over again.
