I agree with you Jason!  I don't like this and wonder if it is a copyright infringement?  With today's technology I have to wonder if any of the original Topps Auto cards have been counterfitted and sold as originals.  I have seen home made Topps LOTR's Auto cards of characters who did not sign for Topps and they are in all respects identical to the official Topps product.  With todays printing technology it would not be difficult to copy the autograph as well.  Points to ponder.   Wink

This is copyright infringement.  It's no different than making a copy of a movie or book and selling it.  The item has been reported to eBay.

Roz, looks like you'll be needing that pitchfork sooner than you thought.

No offense to the BRITS (Heaven knows there are more whackos here in the USA due to shear numbers of people) but this person and the Retail Hot Pack guy are both in the UK.
Is there a full moon over there? Or did someone put something in the drinking water, or worse still, in the beer?  Huh  Grin

Don't know how it happened, but it seems to have been reported (again)   Angel

My, we're feeling vigilante today! Wink  For all of the bad auctions we catch, it makes one wonder how many we miss. Undecided

Did you take a good look at those auctions?  He made DVDs from footage he shot at training seminars.  I wonder if the people who run the seminars would be happy that someone is selling bootlegs?

I saw the other items he had for sale they are all related to catalogue and pyramid sales scam's. Kleeneazy is one of the worst offenders. I reported him before I posted but my concern is how many of these cards are already out there being sold as legit in screw down cases...

I would buy this set.
I know that I will never get my hands on the actual cards, so it is nice for a smaller collector to have the chance to own them.

yes, I know it's wrong to copy them, but I would still love to have that chance.
I don't agree that the copying is right, but again I wouldlike to have the chance of having them.

Anyone who is silly enough to pay even just Shipping for an item like this really has to have had their heads over the fumes of Mount Doom for toooooo long.  Huh

Even today's technology with superfantastic copiers can't replicate that side angle sheen of a blue sharpie...and to trace that 'exact' effortless original autograph...without hesitation...those hesitant bumps would be obvious...but who knows.  In a screw down...and to those more gullible...I guess someone might be had.

If you really want just a copy of these cards, why buy them from a mugger on Ebay...?
Just download their image from any seller's store website !

And finally..."Is there a full moon over there? Or did someone put something in the drinking water, or worse still, in the beer?'...NOOOOO...NOT THE BEER!!!   Praying

I forgot to mention... that's my FOTR Legolas in the scan he has there, he bought it from me AGES ago, nice to know that he still has the original, at least. I had no problems with him, perhaps he didn't think that what he was doing was wrong.
