Hi everyone.

Having just joined the wonderful world of HP cards, I'm really excited about buying my first box (or 2, or 3 Wink), of cards.
After some good advice not to bother with POAu boxes (Thanks again Paul), I've decided to start with SS.
I've been checking out  Ebay! but there doesnt seem to be much of anything SS available to me over here in OZ, (unless I buy a case, which I'd love... just cant afford Sad)
Is SS becoming extinct or does anyone here know where I can get a few boxes to get me started.

Cheers

Hi Tash

If I were you I'd start with a box or two, don't go for a whole case as you might be scared with how much money it is all at once - I think most of the Aussie folk buy their boxes from Tom in the States - he has an auction on ebay and seems to always combine postage, drop him a mail if you have any questions

His auction is HERE

SS is definitely not extinct Grin

Thanks Roz Smiley

I saw Tom's auction earlier today, so think I'll take another look, especially if my fellow aussies use him (damn "no international buyers")
So glad to here SS isn't becoming extinct, would be a shame (not to mention just my luck) to miss that boat!!

Let the fun begin  Grin

Hi Tash,

The Sorcerer's Stone set has some lovely cards to collect and quite often at prices which are far less than those for POA/POAu, which is good! Wink
Try looking on the ebay.com site rather than your local Aussie site as you may find one or two cards being listed that don't show up on your usual searches - that might be because the seller has stated they will only ship to the US, but don't be frightened to ask them through the 'ask a seller' facility if they'd be prepared to ship to Oz and how much it would cost. I think you might be pleasantly surprised by how many say 'yes' Smiley
Tom is excellent and a very reliable seller - he's a big favourite here on the Forum - so you shouldn't have any problems dealing with him and he always goes to great lengths to make sure everything is okay with the cards he sells.
I know some would say ... why the big deal ... but if you consider the sheer volume of items he sells worldwide, then you begin to appreciate just how good his service is.  Grin

... maybe I should be on commission ....  Roll Eyes ROFL!

You're very welcome Tash!
Besides, the worst the seller can say to you is 'no, I don't ship to Oz' if you ask them, so it's worth a query if it's a card you particularly want. Wink
hee hee ... Tom's found you some boxes - excellent! Grin
Say bye bye to your money ... you're on the slippery slope to Potter-collctor-mania! Shocked Wink Grin
