Trilogy info (now much more reliable)

It would be good if the 'rare' card in this set was one that was worth getting. By that I mean getting a decently signed card for your money. I cringed when people handed over $1500+ for a FoTR Merry that had little more than a blue squiggle on it. Same goes for PJ's ROTK autos and Sean Bean's 'SB' effort in TTU. I was happy with paying a bit more for Eowyn in TT because Miranda's signature was great. Same with my FOTR and TT Legolas. Yeah these autos are more expensive due to their rarity, but at least I felt I got what I paid for. I would not pay for a FOTR Merry or ROTK PJ, no way. Not from the looks of the autos

this set looks good shame there is no ring design on the auto. I thought it was the most important part of the design on the last ones but at least it means that it is not a continuation of the other sets.

Hmm as it turns out THIS time the P3 promo is a san diego comic con one! NOT a Wizard mag one... how odd!

Thankfully (I believe) san diego comic con stuff is usually plentiful so we shouldn't have trouble getting hold of them

Oh ok sorry about that!

I'll be on the look out for them on and off ebay though, I'd like one and I know Ben would appreciate one even though he doesn't get to come online very much at the moment (well not for the next 2 months). I just have never seen a Star Wars crome card so I really have no idea what they look like, I can't wait to see one.

Anyone had any luck sourcing the P1 promo? I could also do with a sell sheet - I like to pop one at the front of our binders... we also need them for FOTR update and ROTK update if anyone is on a roll and wants to sell in bulk

ya i'm the same .i haven't seen any chrome card and am really curious about them.i am also after P1 promo. so any help would be great and i think i have a ROTK update promo here somewhere although it could just be ROTK but i will give a good look and let you know.

The chrome concept comes from the sports releases from Topps.  I have been collecting sports cards for the last couple years and have a few Topps Chrome Hockey cards.  If anyone wants I can post scans of a few of the Chromographs (they are hockey auto's) and I think I have a chromobilia card or two (I will have to check on that), but if anyone really wants to see what they will most likely look like let me know and I will try to post.  The Chrome cards scan pretty crappy though FYI, they are nice card stock and nice surfaces for auto's but again they scan poorly.

Anyways let me know and I will try to post some examples if anyone want me to.

I have a ROTKu sell sheet for you, also a P1 promo, I will get one for Ben if you like. So cross them off your list I will mail them out with your CD and costume card

I know this can't be the final list - we already have witchking robes and Eowyn's golden hall dresses but it's more info than we have ever had before at this stage, it's amazing!

guys, more info to add to the new trilogy set:

they have sent request for the stars to sign for autographs. so far only theoden and arwen have responded.

no legolas  theoden or gimli costumes as they did not receive any costumes to use.

Very excited about Bernard Hill (apparently he's going to the Fellowship Festival too - grrr!) and arwen again   :'( But I wish they were getting info on Wormtongue, Treeebeard, etc etc

I presume Sala has responded too by the look of the sell sheet  

Or do we have a repeat of the TT sell sheet (where you can see the Gandalf the white auto)... though in all fairness to topps the sell sheet showed an unsigned card!

Well with 9 Clothing cards in this set how many Auto Cards do you figure will be included?  I am guessing 3 or 4.  It looks like there is a Sauron card and possibly a Theoden and Arwen so far by what we have seen on promotional material and what other people have added.  With the repeats of the Eowyn Golden Hall Party Dress and The Witch-King I am not too excited about this set other than the hoped to be 100 new images for the chrome cards.

I don't think they will be direct repeats. I think that there's been a mix up there! But all the other info is pretty comprehensive huh? As topps' disclaimer says they reserve the right to change things, let's hope they do!
