Bellatrix recast for OotP movie

Instead of Helen McCrory playing the role (she's going to be way preggers by the time they shoot the ministry scenes, so they had to recast), Helena Bonham Carter is going to be playing the role. Gee, I wonder if she'll sign for Artbox?

Lord knows Helena can look mega creepy, so I think that was a great recasting choice...

*Can* look? Call me nuts, but I think she pretty much naturally looks kinda mega creepy.

Hi All

Just wanted to say if Helena Bonham Carter has been casted it's exactly how I imagined the character from the book to look,ie her stature and I totaly agree can look creepy when she wants, she is a very underrated actress. I loved her in planet of the apes and charlie and the chocolate factory!!

I haven't seen many of her films.....but from what I have seen she always creeps the heck out of me.  

Although, I do hope they put her on lifts for the character.  I always envisioned Bellatrix as tall, slender, and imposing.

Carter is all of 5'3", but to be honest, I never really pictured here tall or short, just kinda average. Maybe that's just lack of imagination on my part.

Perfect choice! I never really thought of who would best play that role, but she definitely has the deep, dark features that define Bellatrix. 
She'll be great in the role, no doubt.
