American TV channel (I presume) TBS 'does' LOTR

There are a series of adverts for LOTR here, where they 'retell' the story with an odd twist/voiceover!

They are cool

But when they were shown here on TV (Channel 4) they were very faithful adverts that gave me chills and made me run to my Trilogy Ext Ed DVD boxed sets... just different tactics that maybe work better on Brit audiences.

I still love the TBS attempts though 

(P.S. I'm offended at the hunks one with Gandy and Gimli when I think Orcs should have been the 'ugly sisters'. )

Those were funny!  All except the Secret Lovers one.    How dare they mess with Sam and try to ruin my fat hobbit fantasy?    JK, it was funny!
