The Hobbit Eclipse set - Wenzel Sketches

Has anyone seen these before?  This is a set of 36 cards released by eclipse in 1992 with images done by David Wenzel, the back of each of the 36 tells the story of the hobbit  (extremely abridged of course  ), but it is a really cool set of cards, and I use it to tell the story of the hobbit to my nephews. Anyways I guess Wenzel did 200 sketch cards for the set, and I am not sure if they were radomly put in the sets or what.  I just picked up 10 sets with a sketch in each one, and got some pretty cool sketches (smaug, Gandalf, Bilbo, Gollum, and Tharin).  Just thought I would get everyone's thoughts on these.

I've got a couple sets and sketches. I thought they were ok. Nothing to rave about, imo.

First I've heard of them Zach ... were they only available in the US?
It's hard to say too much about them as you've only posted a few cards as a 'taster' ... they remind me of playing cards more than anything else ...

I like the looks of the sets, and wouldn't mind getting my hands on one, but admittedly, that has more to do with the fact that I'm a Tolkien fan then anything else.

I'll post a few scans of the back of the cards and some of the better looking ones.  Its more of a comic book put into 36 cards.  Some of the sketches are kinda cool.  The whole evolution craze made me dig them out again to see what they looked like.  I have a few cool sketches of Smaug that I really like.

Here are what the normal cards look like.  I think they are kind of cool, becasue there are 36 that tell the story, great for kids.  I scanned the fronts and backs of a few.  I just picked up 8 sets with sketches to give some to my neices and nephews, and might have a few extra if anyone is interested.

Never heard of or saw these before.  I do have a copy of The Hobbit by Wensel in a comic book format which is pretty cool.  I had hoped he would continue on and do The Lord of the Rings in the same format but to date he has not.
