Mine isn't grey at all.  I think what happened is that a couple of inexperienced buyers got into a bidding war. Too bad. |

A scanner isnt that bright is it The picture in this auction looks like it was taken with a digital camera, not a scanner. The picture is at an angle not perpendicular to the light path. Causes a distortion and a reflection. |
