Well I have just started playing the new TR and I love it  Grin  They really have learnt their lessons from the last one and it seems to be back to the old style of puzzles, shooting and tomb raiding  Grin

Oh and for anyone looking for spoilers I don't have any at the moment but was sort of hoping the title might tease some out of another Shacker  ROFL!

Let me know what you think - I have just finished Tokyo (I think it was Tokyo anyway - my geography is appalling  Wink )

I like it a lot to. I am playing on a 360 so the graphics are pretty top notch. It is definetly a step (or even a whole flight of steps) up from some of the other Raider games.

It is a little short, and there are still some camera issues, but all in all a superb game for sure.

Oh, and I just beat Africa.

I've just finished Tomb Raider Legend on the XBrick 360 in a little over 10hrs (including the unlevel Croft manor). :'(

Although it was Very Short, I thoroughly enjoyed it a true return to form.
Praying I can only hope they make it longer next time, There is only so long you can spend replaying the levels looking for artifacts.

So if I can help in any way, I'd be happy to help.

You may regret saying that  ROFL!  I am terrible at games but I will have a go first - then I will bug you relentlessly to help me solve that rotten riddle about the mantle piece in Croft Manor  ROFL!

Oh I love that quote button  Grin  I think this is a record for me, I have had a game for nearly two weeks and haven't asked for help yet.  Well that is all about to change .........

I am in an industrial building at the North Pole, at least I think it is the North Pole, there is lots of snow and it is very cold  Wink.  I have just met up with Amanda and she has set the beast on me.  I have set the experiment running and then ...... I die  Evil Every rotten time  Hopping Mad   So if some kind Shacker could take pity on me and tell me how to defeat the many legged beasty I would be so grateful  Grin

Go on, you know you want to put me out of my misery, just click the PM button and save a frustrated Tomb Raider  Grin Grin  Thanks  Grin Grin

Update

A gazillion thank yous to Marty and Bryan.  I don't know if I can do it, but at least I now know what I am supposed to do  Grin

Ryan just started playing this.  He decided to do the croft manor first but is missing one silver medal somewhere....  He likes to find everything.  Oh well, I keep telling him to move on so I can see more Smiley

If you ever need some help just shout, I only need one medal to complete it so I should be able to help on most matters.

Have resisted so far but I've been told there's a walkthrough on ign.com somewhere.

PS enjoy every second you can it's not a long game!!

It is for some of us  Sad.  I still can't kill the Hydra  Hopping Mad.  I manage to get three out of the four cages to crash down on his head but he keeps avoiding the fourth  Hopping Mad.  Oh well back to replaying Kingdom Hearts - roll on September when KH2 is realised here  Grin

ROFL! I can't do the fourth cos I am useless at games  ROFL!.  My health is pretty well, healthy.  Is there a particular order to do them in?  I have been trying to do the ones at the end of the pier first as this is where I am most likely to get smacked by the beastie.  Oh dear I hope this is the worst bit of the game  Undecided.  I have, however, managed to get everything from Croft Manor  Grin.  I am not too bad when there is no one either shooting at me or trying to swallow me whole  Cap'n ROFL!

Personally I did find this the hardest bit of the game

The trick I used for doing the pier bits was to ring a near by bell and run to the end
then backing off away from the end if he didn't quickly become transfixed with the nice music I was making for him, get outta there back to dry land and when he comes over make another try

long winded, yes!  ROFL!
But I think the idea is to keep moving

Well this particular beastie is now no more  Grin.  It is so weird, I couldn't hit it to save my life (literally) last week but I had another go yesterday and it was an ex-beastie straight away.  But then the huge disappointment - the game was over  :'(.  OK one more baddie but then that was it, I was so surprised.  Now I see what you meant when you said it was a short game.

I think I have been a bit spoilt as the only other game I have played so far (start to finish) was Kingdom Hearts and that lasted for ages.  I just sort of thought all the games were like that.  But I really did enjoy this Tomb Raider and just hope they make the next one the same way, just longer  Wink

My husband is playing this right now, and I can not believe it says he is 50% done already!!!  I hope they make the next one much longer.
