For some reason, I don't think my daughter will appreciate a frizzy-haired, buck-toothed Hermione. Roll Eyes  A Yule Ball Hermione, on the other hand, would go over quite well! Smiley  If I made the dress out of Apoxie Sculpt, I wouldn't have to worry about the symbol, either.  Hmm...

Kelly, how hard is it to work with that sculpting material?  I've heard it dries fast, so you have to work fast.

Ahh how Hollywood has ruined our book based heros... Ron doesn't look at all like I'd thought (he's not tall or lanky enough), but Dan's perfect ROFL!

I love apoxie sculpt.  It starts to set up in about 1-2 hours and gets a little harder to work with, but you can put water on it to smooth things out.  I've never made anything that flows like the Yule Ball dress, so I think it's probably best to have a specific plan drawn out before mixing it up.  A scarf would be easy enough to do.  I may do one for my Hogwarts pony.

Shadowfax, now there's a thought! Smiley

Thanks for the info, Kelly!  I think I might play around with some regular modeling clay and see if I can make a decent dress out of that before I spend money on the good stuff.  It might be easier to stitch a dress sort of like a cape over the back and sides of the pony.  Oh, I found some fabric today for Sirius' prison costume.  It isn't exactly what I wanted, but it'll do.  Smiley

Awesome. I must admit it's been many years since I've bought a 'my little pony' and unlike you two I don't have children to hide behind ROFL!, but from my ancient and long-distant experiences, I don't remember any white ponies. Are there any white ones?

The new pony I used for Sirius is white.   I think it's name is Rhythm and Rhyme.

Yeah, I try to buy the white ones when I see them.  They're great for dyeing.

Your eyes would have lit up if you had seen the massive My (not so) little Pony in Hemleys window that I spotted yesterday.

Well, I'm working on it, but I'm not too good at setting up websites.  Roll Eyes  It's not really a store, more of a place to see my pony's.  I'll have some for sale occasionally, and will take a few commissions, but I don't want it to be anything more than a hobby.  If I turn it into a business, I'll have deadlines and people emailing me all the time about stuff I don't want to do.  I want to keep it fun!  Grin
