Just my luck to get a double I would call that good luck! You were able to get double of one of the rarest cards in the set. Also, if you have a varient on your hands there, it certainly was a great find! Congrats on the pulls!

I have to agree with Mike on this one Graham - that's material from Gandalf's shirt card you have in that Arwen costume card! ... the leaf patterns are woven into the fabric and I think it's very distinctive and really nice - reminds me of woven damask table cloth actually. You never know, you could get ooooodles of money for that variant - think of what Richard got for those Karkaroff 'variants' a little while ago!!

I am trying to go back and figure out which sketches I didn't post scans of as everyone seems to be about done posting sketches. I must say I had great luck with Kayanans compared to some, but overall considering I opened 16 cases of Evo I seemed to have just come out at about expected odds. My 3 Kayanans were in about the first 5 cases so I had no Kayanans in the last 11 cases I opened, but plenty of other fabulous sketches. I need to start selling a few to pay that bill I don't think I posted this one.

The white one looks like a mistake It looks like Gandalfs shirt That's what I thought at first Mike but we have a Gandalfs shirt and the material is plain weave - as Jules pointed out the Arwen has leaf patterns in it. But everyone knows my views on error cards like this (if it is an error) PASS THEM ALL MY WAY

Hi. New here to this site. Just found it looking for, oddly enough, more boxes of evolution. so far, i was only able to open one case, but it was a very good case! i have 2 boxes on the way, and unless i find a steal thats gonna be it :-(. Heres what i pulled. it was actually sorta neat, my Girlfriend and i sat in our apartment when the case came, and we opened up the packs from the back one at a time, when we saw the congratulations, we set it aside and kept opening the boxes. it was fun. when we finished a box, she would (lol) kiss the back of the pack for luck and we would flip it onto the table (only 1.5 inches and it had a cloth covering so nothing could happen to em). It was actually cooler to just open em up with her then to pull the sketchs...but the sketchs were close LOL. here are the best pulls from the case. We decided to keep the more common sketchs and part with the expensive ones. I think we did gang busters! i liked the color eye of sauron myself the best, but she was into the Staggs and the Wilkinson Galadriel (have you ever seen a better one? i havent. its actually really oddly beautiful to look it just on its own). HUZZAH!!!!! also liked getting a russel walks. what was odd , was the wilkinson came in the same box as the OTHER wilkinson...that should be sorta impossible, lol.

At this weekend's Philly Show, my husband bought two boxes - one for me and one he kept. We each got 2 sketches in the box. I pulled a very nice McCrea and Hodges, he pulled a Rood and KAYANAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was so embarrassed, me being the sketchqueen and all But I was so happy I didn't care who pulled it, cause now it's all mine. We also bought 4 more sketches at the show - an O'Neill, a Mitchell, a Provonost and a Dillon. Here is the link : http://mywebpages.comcast.net/rkohlbus/lotr-philly.jpg

Hey Sketchqueen...I just heard about the Philly show...damn I should have went...what were they charging for Hobby boxes...did a lot of dealers still have them? Congrats on the Kayanan...that's a tough pull when you only buy 2 boxes...odds are like 1 Kayanan in 5 or 6 cases! Whew! How were the prices for sketch cards at this convention compared to Ebay? And was there a big selection? Sorry, I'm a bit OCD about this and can't believe I missed something like this so relatively close to home (NYC)...enjoy your posts!

Great pulls Joanna between you and your husband! Didn't you hear your Kayanan Aragorn say he wants to come and stay at my New Hampshire home?

No, my name is not sketchqueen , but I bought two boxes of these at the philly show for $60 each. Most dealers did not have them. I only saw two, as a matter of fact. I pulled a gorgeous Cummens Galadriel sketch from mine, of which eventually I'll post a photo

Boxes were $60 and up, but there weren't many. Only 3 dealers had sketches - one had so-so quality, one had really nice and really expensive cards (I only picked up one from him - the Provonost) and the other dealer had a nice mixture - all sorts of quality and all sorts of prices so I picked up three from him And about Kayanan coming to NH? I'm not sure, I'll listen again, but I think he said "I love this house, can I stay here FOREVER!!!: upon entering *my* house *lol*

I never get the good pulls *lol* which is why we instituted the house rule of "Joanna opens ALL the boxes until she gets the card she wants, then the rest of the family can open". The only luck I ever had was winning his heart

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know I've listed another one of my blank cards on Ebay. This time, it's buyers choice! You pick the character you want me to draw:) This will probably be the only one of the 6 that I auction this way. It's a 3 day auction. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6269130409CC

There were a few cards that I felt were sub-par. Those were the ones I asked for back. I think it was a Pippin.

well, broke 2 more cases. pulled 29 sketchs, a LOT of repeats and artists who i had 3-4 from already (sigh). lets just say, i can make sets of anyone who did 1000 sketchs, how many ya need? lol. oddly though, one of thoes artists, hodges, ended up being one of the best pulls (you will see). here are the 8 best. i also had a budd sketch, and a few other nice short prints and parsons sketchs, but these 8 are the ones I like the best whats neat, is the hodges is actually painted. It literally has to be his single best overall sketch, and thats cool to have. i have also pulled ( i think anyway) another artists best sketch, from sarah wilkinson, the galadriel sketch. The chandler balrog fighting gandalf is great too.
