When I read the book I immediately thought of Stephen Fry for absolutely no good reason  Wink  He looks completely wrong but somehow the smarmy arrogance of Slughorn could be carried off by Stephen.  For looks alone I would have loved Nigel Bruce who played Watson opposite Basil Rathbone's Holmes.

Yes, and it would be AWESOME if Fry had a part in Potter since everyone seems to have gleaned the mannerisms and voices of their characters from his narration of the stories. He's also big buddies with JK Rowling since he does the narrations... and he was the first person she met who knew what 'Draco dormiens nunquam titlandus' (sp?) means.
