So what do you think it's worth; there are of course only 30 in the world!

Or more to the point, what do you think it will be worth a few years down the line?

The only one I saw on ebay was a buy it now - so the dealer chose the price and Gimli (of our very own forum) bought it!

So as yet one has not gone out on the "open" market if you like.

So any ideas guys? If there are 500 Merry's in the world and they are £1000 a piece, these guys are nearly 17 rarer, does that make them worth £17,000  Grin  Wink

I think it will top out around $1100, I think most people will be content to not have a "pear tree" prop card in their master set.  At least I will be anyways.  Smiley

I'm not so sure that it will be as high a value as you may think. Even a completist like me could do without this card rather than pay ridiculous prices.

Now.....if there were only 30 Daniel Radcliffe auto cards, we would be talking huge money.

It's a shame his card isn't in the first issue, but I suppose it makes sense to hold hims back for the Philosophers Stone issue at Christmas, being as it was the first film.

Just my theory anyway.

Ah yes but it will be a Sorcerer's stone auto...

can you live with it  - rather than a Philosopher's Stone auto?

True - but that was 'buy it now' - so that doesn't count  Tongue

LOL!

Just kidding - but it's the only one I've seen on ebay!

I would really be very surprised indeed!

30 in the world is nothing... even cards inc who bought 250 cases got "a very few" in!

if the information on the auction it was one for evey 25 cases so cards inc would have got 10 for their 250 cases wait a minute that does not work if it is one per 25 then that works out at 20 cards

True... but if Richard Wheat buys 25 cases from Cards inc, or 40 cases or whatever he will want his 25 case incentive card - and as UK "distributors" they should pass that on!
