Artbox at Spring Philly Show

I live close enough to Philly (just over two hours from start to finish) that I may be able to stop in for the day.  I have some friends and family up there as well, so I could always find somewhere to sleep if I don't want to drive back home. 

For those of you who have gone in the past, what do you think?  It all sounds very exciting!

I go every year.  It is not big, and not overly exciting, but fun all the same.  If you plan on going to get the promos, I recommend you go Friday from 2-8, as they may be all out of them by Saturday

I have attended the show for many, many years. There was one show, oh about 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my first son that I was supposed to be on strict bed-rest (no moving about) that I convinced my husband to push me about in a wheelchair! And he did!

The show is strictly non-sport cards and tons of them - if you do stop by, find me and say hello! I'll be the mom yelling at one, if not both, of my children so I'm really easy to spot

It's very personal - so you can actually talk with the manufacturers, and ask them all sorts of questions.

As you can tell, it's my favorite show and I've not missed one yet- even brought the newborn Evan to a show when he wasn't even 2 months old Best and worst show ever was the one 3 years ago in March - my mom had just died and though I didn't feel like going out in public yet, I couldn't skip it and the love and comfort found there was overwhelming.

I should add that I've only worked in trading cards for 3 years, so I started attending this show as a collector - and, I must say, it was more fun as a collector than having to "work" there

I agree.  I have fun going to just look and see what is out there.  I had no intention of going this year (waiting for the next show later in the year) until I heard about Artbox.  This may be a one time East Coast appearance from them   I am a bit excitied and plan on asking a ton of questions
