The Collector Zone has teamed up with QVC The Shopping Channel for a special hour of Harry Potter merchandising.  This is to coincide with the release of Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire on DVD.  The show can be viewed live on Freeview Channel 16, channel 630 on Sky Digital & cable at 7pm on Monday 20th March. (I believe it can also be viewed on www.qvc.com too)

The show, which goes out live, will feature replica wands, trading cards, lithographic art prints, collector stamps and prop replicas.  Some of the prop replicas are stunning with the star of the show being a Hogwarts Houses Quidditch Chess Set with 24k gold plated attachments.  Other replica items to look out for include an illuminating wand, a Draco Malfoy walking stick and a Fawkes The Phoenix Sculpture on Perch.

As is always be causious if you are thinking of buying anything from QVC on these events most things are available at a fraction of the price easily elsewhere.

I have never seen anything on one of these QVC / Collector Zone shows I couldn't supply to people at sometimes well less than 1/2 the price and yet people seem to just pay QVC as they get caught up in it

But it is good to see what you will be able to get cheap later

Yeah - many of the things on the QVC show will already be available on the Collector Zone website methinks... and maybe a little cheaper than going through QVC, or you'll get them faster...

But it's worth watching for a giggle - and as Lurtz/Daz says - it's good for new ideas/to see things demonstrated that you haven't seen before - especially if you never get to the fairs like Collectormania/Memorabilia

I got my POA lithos from QVC and it was a pretty decent price. You get to see them as well on there rather than just a static picture on a website ;-)
