Juggernaut, totally agree.. i am fairly new to the card scene and having looked into all the types, amnufacturers and sellers i have decided that the best quality appear to be rittenhouse.. they obviously LOVE what they do and are PROUD of there products.. not only from quality although with the breaks of case (except someones break on Stargate 8 posted the other day) you also have great odds at getting at least one very rare autograph in a case...

But even there inserts.. ARtifex and great, Autos are always nice with quality signers, Costumes and Relics are good and the other chases tend to push the boundaries of what has not been done before.. Jeez anyone will think i work for them  ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL!

Also, not only are they nice cards.. they appear to hold there value and actually appreciate rather quickly....

Not all is good though...  those elusive 6 case incentives must be a killer... i  Praying Praying Praying someone will sell me one cheaper thatn i see.. $400+ USD is high.. but still a nice card..

Good luck to all buying this.. i am certainly getting a case or two...

Julie..

ps.. yes the overall concept of email is in agreance that Rittenhouse have PRIDE in their work and it shows.... Grin Grin Grin

What I don't get it this :

NSU people seem mad that the Jackman won't be in the packs - but HE WILL BE. They'll have a "chance" to get it - probably the same chance they had with Topps *lol* AND if they can't find it in the packs, half the dealers on the block are ikely to have one (or more, depending).

There's just no pleasing people I think - and sadly, that's my job - to please people Smiley And yes, I do work for Rittenhouse - and I think you like them more than I do Julie *lol*

well i have been out of trading cards for a while but i have to say that the best card manufacturerer for customer service is Rittenhouse.

I love the rittenhouse sets and yes they have better odds than most 1 in six cases for the jackman card seems ok as long as I get the stan lee auto i weill be happy.

Look at evolution the Kayanan sketches are 1 in 5 cases i don't see anyone complaining but because it is an incentive well it is in packs too so there is al3ways the chance of getting it

Jackman is the main autograph I want, but I'm not super sad that he's labeled for an incentive...  The best thing about the new set in my opinion will be 1) Sketches Cheesy, 2) REAL costumes, 3) autographs from folks I don't already have, 4) chase OTHER than auto and maybe costume like in X2 & X1, 5) promo cards, 6) guaranteed base set with pretty pictures (which we had with Topps).

I still have to decide how many boxes to get because I'm pretty broke after Evolution.  (Firefly & Wizard of Oz are still coming too *sigh*).

Hey Sketchqueen,

Maybe i do like them more, maybe its because the closer you are to someone or something the more inclined you are to find fault...  ROFL! ROFL! ROFL! ROFL!

What do you mean jackman is in the packets.. are they making them 6 case incentives as well as inserting them? wouldnt that devalue the card? or will it be a different card??
is there any rumours on odds for sketches and costumes yet??

Thanks and speak soon

There more definetly were costumes listed, however there were no odds and no actual costume card listed, it just said the set would contain them is all

Here is a quote from another chat room that was posted by one of the reps from Rittenhouse

"I wanted to be the first to let everyone know that Rittenhouse Archives will not be able to include costume cards in this series as the studio is still working on reshoots. Since we do not know which costumes may become available at a later date we do not plan on using redemption cards for items that we may not receive. We also did not want to make any costume cards from "material used in the making" of the costumes, so the only viable solution was to not include them in this series."

Maybe that will clear things up.

Robert's the vice-president of the company, so you can take him at his word.  And yes, I heard the news yesterday, but got so busy today that I hadn't had a chance to stop by and tell you the news.

Yes, this was going to be the next big release I collected after LOTR Evo and GOFU, but I think I'll give it a miss without the costume cards to be honest.
