Amazing that Boromir with "only" 1000 Worldwide is worth $120.00 (or more) but a Honeydukes Candy with "only" 75 Worldwide went for less, huh Tower?
Or a Cedric with 100(?) goes for $80.00 or so.

I know LOTR and HP are not exactly the same, but still......

lol - on that scale though - the "rare" FOTR autos are not numbered of course but 2000 to 2500 of each were signed... imagine what the print run was for ROTK (or ... actually... don't!). Even the FOTR Merry auto which is super - hideously rare - Dom says he signed 500 or so. But try finding one beneath a British Grand and you'll have trouble.

Partly it's because the LOTR license is stronger than HP and the LOTR fan base is older, but also because the company 'Topps' is VERY experienced and has different distribution methods etc... I'm still wondering where all the FOTR has gone? At $200-$300++ for boxes... IF YOU CAN FIND THEM it's crazy.

1. I am happy to say that I opened at least one of those hideously expensive FOTR boxes It was great fun thinking 'this pack is worth $10'
