What would everyone like to see in the Season 2 sets.
I e-mailed Inkworks my idea, that it would be cool if they had two special rare prop cards.
1.actual wrapper from Apollo candy bar 2. Actual orientation film from the hatch video
Autographs I'd like to see in Season 2
Michelle Rodriguez Matthew Fox Dominic M. AAA(Eko) Emille Daraven(Claire) Jack's Wife Sarah Desmond Mr. Candle
Pieceworks.
Police uniform worn by Ana-Lucia Something from Cynthia Watros Something from AAA

Prop cards would be the best! I'm thinking that they will probably follow suit with season 2 and have 3 big signers + auto pieceworks for those 3.

Has inkworks done any props in sets? I can't think of any off the top of my head, I agree with Kelly they seem to always plan there sets well and only put a limited amount of top autos and a bunch of more secondary ones.

Actually 4 lets not forget Walt (Malcolm David Kelley) . I would rather see Inkworks concentrate on the rest of the original cast before moving to the newbies no offense to them. Besides Julie already has a AAA from The Mummy Returns Set. I have to admit though if He did sign again I would be so upset not like He isn't Mine and Julies favorite of the new characters. I really thought the Malcolm David Kelly would be a solid auto card, but one of my spares I had on ebay of MDK auto went for $12. My Jacks Dad auto went for $13, so much for the collector base thinking much of Walt, I realize the has been in the season 2 episodes very little, but still I was stunned it didn't get better bids.

Yeah me too - perhaps when his 'mystery' is solved in series 2 we'll see his popularity go up a bit. I've loved the series 1 set so if the info we see for series 2 is half as good you can count me in as a collector... rumours so far include a "sand from the Hawaiian beach card" (which was strongly denied by Inkworks saying it could damage the packing, machinery ... but I was thinking they would use a similar packet to the way the Sorcerer's Stone is sealed, which I think could work.. so who knows??) The only other rumour Ive heard for base/ chase / case topper (but I hope not 'auto') is that they have made a print of the dog's foot.... Walt's dog who's name escapes me for the moment.... ahh yes, Vincent. There was also talk of a mini set/factory set between LOST season1 and LOST season 2, but I hear that there may not be time for that, which is probably a good thing (unless it's a Boone dedicated mini set - because I think we've missed the chance to have memorabilia from him ), we don't want them to become Artbox after all although a bit of Artbox prop style (from PoA, PoAU and SS, but not GoF of course) never did anyone any harm IMHO

I'd really like to see a Michelle Rodriguez autograph.. After that, any other of the main cast would make me very happy.... As for Walt's autograph not selling for higher, it's gotta be the kid factor. I know that most of the HP autographers are children, but I think it's an exception for children's autographs to go for so much... Just a thought.

The only prop card I can recall from Inkworks were the casino chip case toppers from Looney Tunes. I would love to see them do more. They have proved with several sets that they can do thick/difficult materials, so props should not be much of a problem. Film cards of the orientation film would be great. I know Allan has wanted to do film cards, if they can be done right. He actually got an Upper Deck Disney Treasures film card from me as an example of how a good film card can be done. Ed

A sand card would DEFINETLY be possible, anyone familiar with the Topps American Pie set? They had both a Reagan and Kennedy Berlin Wall remnants card, inside the card was actual rubble from the falling of the berlin wall. They also had a Woodstock dirt card.

I agree, an orientation film card would be easily one of the coolest prop cards you could possibly ask for

I'm not sure now Deza. But if you are wondering where to get LOST Season 2, there are lots of dealers in the US who are happy to ship to Aus, - Tomunique being one, but there are many, but you would have to pre-order I think.

Very Much interested in getting my hands on The next lot, I didnt get my first taste of lost cards till like 2 months ago. VERY late into the release. No one seems to want to answer this Question, but how much does a Case sell for Wholesale Value ?

" No one seems to want to answer this Question, but how much does a Case sell for Wholesale Value ?" Well, there are reasons for this and it's not just with trading cards. Would you go into the grocers and ask "So, what's your price on those bananas?" Or to the bookstore and say "You know, $19.99 is too high, give it to me without your mark-up please?" It's easier to find out what the Retail Cost is and then you can determine if what the dealer is charging is fair. For example, the Suggested Retail Price for Lost Season 1 was : SRPs: $2.49 PER PACK $14.95 PER BASE SET $89.95 PER BOX So, at $89.95 per box, times 10 boxes per case, that comes to $899.50 per case. There's currently a box on eBay for BIN of $62.00 which is a savings of $27.95 off the SRP. There are also boxes on eBay for $62.99 all the way up to $88.99 I realize this isn't answering the actual question, but hopefully giving you another way of looking at it. Take care and happy collecting!

I will try to answer that question without saying what i pay wholesale. Prices vary with each set so it is difficult to say a box costs X amount. Most releases that you buy on ebay in the UK on pre order are only a few £GB above the cost price the cost price depends on how much you buy for example if i buy a box wholesale I will pay lets say £40 if i buy 1 case i will may pay £37 a box if i buy 10 cases i may get them for £33.75 a box if i buy 25 cases I may get them for £33.00 a box these figures are an example and don't reflect actual prices So if you arre buying from me and i bought 10 cases then if I sell them at £35 a box I have wasted my time as I have only made £1.25 and most of that has been paid out in fees and so there is no point in me buying the product to sell. Trading cards are a strange thing to deal in and I belive you would only do it if you love it. Most retailers would not touch products that didn't command a higher return. Looking for a profit margin of 50% to 100% to make it worth stocking, but in trading cards you would be lucky to make 5 - 10% on box prices, you can't live on that unless you are turning over 100's of thousands of boxes. just my opinion (this is how it is most of the time in the UK) as for how much iot costs wholesale try asking any shop holder they will tell you where to go, so why do you think any dealer would answer that question

Note: There is now speculation fueled by a rumor from the Philly Show that the next Lost set will NOT be Season 2, it'll be an interim set. So feel free to speculate on what will be in the Lost 1.5 set (actually I've no clue what it'll be called, but 1.5 seems appropriate.) I have the urge to scream "I told you so" but I told other people, not you guys, and they all called me stupid. Said Inkworks would *never* do that .....

I would definetly not mind another first season set, like an update sort of. More Auto Pieceworks from the original castaways before they move into the tailies, plus it leaves the option of pulling a Boone costume!
