A very nice set My only complaint Galactica 1980 AARRGGHH!!!

Cant wait to get my cases in... they look awesome... have you seen some1 selling the auto costumes set start a $199 and matching numbers... they must have got an archive box..

Are the autograph costume cards numbered to 250 each?
if so the odds should be better thean 1 in 6 with only 3300 boxes.
At least I hope so

Hey Rich,

You make a good point... not that i am an expert, and yes all numbered to 250, although i think 2 a case from what i hear..

i was surprised when nutted it out too, then i tried to factor in 2 points:

• hot boxes
  and what manufacturers hold back

Know this is not an answer, although i will post once i get cases in the next week or so... cant wait... keep us posted, can you capture pic rich of auto/costume?

Archive Boxes do indeed contain a complete set of Auto'd costume cards - I'm fairly certain they're matching numbers as well.

Yep, I saw that auction too and at $199 for a set of 4 with matching numbers, I think that's a bargain!

Yeah i reckon a great buy as well.. they should be approx $100US each... at least...

so if goes that price think a few will bid... i might too.. .but am really holding off for the series 1 of the newbies ni march.. would like to get a few cases...

Well, I think in actual fact, US$50 each is a fair price but the fact that the auction is for all 4 and even better with all matching numbers gave the auction a good premium value. There's still almost 1 day's time for the auction to run but I won't be surprised if late bidders came in and push the price up to US$250. I think that would be a top ceiling price.
