Wow, being a newbie i apologise as most of you have probably found these but there are so many cards you all collect on Ebay.

it freaks me out man, my children find things before i do...

Have come across a lot with 2 dealers in the states from San Fran and New York of which are reasonable in price.. some though, i found i had to buy the complete sets and then onsell the duplicates to make worth while.. because prices were so good, it was worth while...

Have also come across another dealer in Australia, sometimes a little more $$$ but sells them and is also trustworthy... i get a bit from them to fill gaps... and they have some good auctions at times... actually, they are reason i am adding the notice, they have a 99c no reserve auction for LOST autograph of Kate Austen / Evangeline Lilly.. WOW!!! hey, maybe shouldnt tell you before i win it.. LOL...  ROFL! ROFL!

Anyway, guess point to the post is dont forget to check all sites (internationally) and in stores... sometimes some good clearances have been out there...  i bought Batman Costume Card for only US$37,,,,,, Was i happy....

Anyway, thanks for the great forums and look forward to chatting here more often..

This was a hard one.  I prefer to buy cards from the US simply because they tend to be cheaper.  But I voted for the UK because of our import duty.  Same goes for cards from anywhere in Europe or the rest of the world.  Old Gordon Brown is clobbering us all ways  Hopping Mad

MMM, the VAT... its so expensive for you UK folk.. over the top on occassions, oops should i say that? are we being monitored???  ROFL!

australia implemented a GST (similar to VAT) charge of 10%.. hasnt been lifted or raised yet, but sure it will be down the track... Oh well, they will deal with it then...

The world of economics, no wonder i failed it in school.. i forgot to enlist into the MAFIA program.... LOL

Anyway,,, keep adding peoples.. who you like to buy from and where..

Take care

I remember when the state of Texas started its sales tax, sort of like a VAT/GST (what ever). It was only   Wink 1 cent on the dollar.  At the time California had a 4 cent sales tax. Well today, Texas has an 8 cent on the dollar tax.  Tongue  As usual, once the camel has his nose under tent, it's not long until the rest of him is inside. What's really stupid is the tax paying public just keeps on accepting these never ending rises in tax. And what do we get in return? The best politicians money can buy.  Cap'n  Crewman  Hopping Mad

I heard the new tax simplification form has only two lines on it.

1. How much did you make? $___________.
2. Send it all in.
