Okay guys, I sent my damaged cards in to Artbox, and received an email on December 6 saying they were received, and to allow 7-10 business days to allow time for processing and my cards to arrive.  Tomorrow will be business day number 10, but I still have not receveived them.  Bought a lot on eBay sicne, and all that has come through to me, but not these.  I am starting to get really nervous.  Did anyone else send in cards to them and not get them back yet, or get them?  I did this once before. and i had my card back within a week.  Not this time though.

7-10 days from California back to the East Coast during the holiday season for fulfillment and transit seems a bit short for me. I'd give it till after the holidays when they're back in their offices and ask again.

Hopefully they will be here this week. I insured them and got delivery confirmation when I sent them, but I know they don't do the same when sending them back.  I will give it more time, just figured I would start this thread to see how long it takes others as well. Thanks!

Here's an odd story, along the same lines. I sent back my damaged cards to Inkworks for Lost on the same day I mailed my Secret Santa present to the UK.

The package arrived in the UK 2 days BEFORE the package arrived to Inkworks in North Carolina. So, the postal service is, at best, flaky Smiley

I still need to send my damaged cards to Inkworks, but decided to wait until after the holidays for that reason.  But I sent them to Artbox a while back. I know I should not be nervous yet, but I really am Undecided

Mike, did they send you a form letter saying they received your card and they would try to fulfil your request within 7-10 business days?  Makes me feel loads better it took them that long though.  Like I said, I had one other experience where they sent it back really fast, but it was not the holiday season, or right after a recent release either.

Is it just me, or are the costume cards sort of "warped" a little? Like I have a master set, and I noticed that one of the cards is a little bent, and then I started looking at my other pack pulled cards, and there are a bunch that do not lie down completly flat

I've noticed that, too, and not just with the GOF set.  Some of my SS cards are also warped.  I put them in screwdowns to help straighten them out.

I had a box that came with around 30 of the base set cards that looked liked this:

I had red splotches on some cards and some of the 1-18 cards were faded (poor McGonagall).  I sent Artbox a package on Thursday the 8th and they apparently got it this Monday the 19th.  I am amazed that it took 11 days considering I live only a mail day away from them.  Even with the holidays factored in, that seems like a long time.  They told me they had received it in reply to my email about whether they had gotten it.  They are sending me replacement cards plus a full base set.

I noticed the warping too - I wonder why?
I'm a bit concerned at all these duff cards we're all getting - strikes me that the printers are rushing to get these cards printed and on the shelves and the quality control for them is being left to one side. Undecided
I only hope they're a bit more careful with the GOFu set next year! Roll Eyes

I had a box of SS with a load of cards printed off to the side (part of the words were cut off ont he back) and some bent base cards from GoF.  I was so concerned about my insert cards that i forgot to send any of the base cards back to them Embarrassed

Mike - how long did it take after you received that form letter from them?

I am glad to hear that is it taking longer.  Just seems odd since I ordered so much on eBay since then, and all those items arrived quickly, even from overseas!!!  Since today is day 10 since I got that letter, should I send them a letter asking when they sent them, or wait a little while longer?

Well, don't forget that Artbox is probably getting a lot of mail for GOF -- redemptions and damaged cards.  I don't know how many people they have to work on these things, but I've only ever dealt with one person in customer service.  It's also the holidays, so people take vacation and the mail is slower.  It wouldn't hurt to send them an email tomorrow and ask for the status of your return.

I think I might.  I would have hoped that the form letter meant it was on its way bnack to me, but maybe that is how long they needed to process the request (giving time to get a whole bunch mailed at the same time) and maybe it was just sent back to me.  It would still be nice to know for sure.  I will let everyone know what they say, that is, if it doesn't arrive today (i haven't checked the mail yet).

I just got two auto redemptions back from POA Update that I sent in the beggining of Nov.  So approx time was Nov 2 - Dec 18.  I think you should assume a good month to month and a half for any replacement cards.  Any quicker is a bonus.

About a week, maybe even sooner.

I got 3 GOF base cards that had a crease down the middle exposing the white of the card Roll Eyes Luckily I had spares for both base sets

Well, it has been 2 weeks since I got the letter (on December 6), so I just sent them an email.  I will be so upset if my cards don't get back to me Undecided

Just an update. I emailed Artbox, and they thanked me for being patient.  The cards were not yet sent.  So nothing to worry about yet Cheesy
