lol, no, picking up feathers from around a bird's cage is not a form of animal cruelty. Eating at McDonald's is participating in animal cruelty, in fact, buying pretty much any meat apart from at a farmers market is participating in animal cruelty!

I think although GoF was a fun set it lacked some of the innovation, there was nothing comparable to the Charlie Grass cards (although taking cards THAT much out of the box is rather odd Tongue) but I think we needed something to top the ingenuity of the SS Sorcerer's Stone piece prop. And we didn't get it.

I think moving to something gross like Gillyweed or some of the "Owl dropping" plaster would be hilarious and add that little bit of humour and ingenuity these sets need.

I reckon Artbox would do a good job with design... but I shudder to think of the odds (and prices Shocked) for them if they ever came out!

Artbox has done liquid cards before... Evil

For Terminator 2 they had the liquid metal from the TX encased in plastic. They were VERY rare, but if you ever got to see one you could squish the liquid around in the bubble coming out of the card.

This is the one Ed is talking about

That's really expensive. I would rather use the money to buy several cases of the T2 cards and try pulling the card myself. If still can't get the card, at least I will have consolation prizes of several Linda Hamilton, Robert Patrick and Edward Furlong autos!  Grin

I don't know anything about this set (I stumbled on it looking for Robert Patrick stuff from his stint on the X-Files) so I have no idea whether this card was a case incentive much like the Train tickets and Death Eater wands... in that case, we would be highly unlikely to ever see one Sad

As this was an Artbox set, I can't see why they couldn't replicate this with Harry Potter props if they ever wanted to.

Its a pack pulled insert, not a case incentive. The case incentive is CT1 costume card while multi-case incentive is a dual auto card of the 2 stanton brothers.

That's cool - at least that gave ordinary collectors a chance to get it! Cheesy

I wish they inserted a few of the 9 3/4 tickets into packs Tongue

I second that  Smiley

As a completely off the wall card maybe they could do a piece of coal with Gary Oldmans auto - that way you would have the signature and the item that played the character in the film. Grin

When you said putting liquid in a card, what about Second Task water ROFL! Highly unlikely because I'm sure that huge tanks has been drained to keep algae from collection Wink

Actually the liquid card would be perfect for the HBP set - the liquid from the goblet DD has to drain.  And yes I know we have a little while to wait for this set  Roll Eyes

Are they still going to do a Chamber of Secrets set?

They could be working on that to fill inthe delay until HBP is ready.
