I'm working on some craft projects and need pictures of Gilderoy Lockhart.  I have two high-res photos and need two or three 4x6 pictures printed for each.  The problem I'm having is that these are copyrighted images and no photo shop will print them.  Is there anyone who has access to a good-quality photo printer and can print these for me?  Of course, I'll pay for them. Smiley  Please PM if you can help.  Thanks!

I would help, but I don't think you'll get them this side of Christmas ROFL! (last posting date UK to US is today) and I have a laser printer so although the pictures would be lovely they wouldn't be on glossy paper at all and wouldn't be of quite the same quality as an inkjet on super duper high res.

But if you need someone to fall back on - you know where to find me Smiley

Have you tried Wal-Mart?  You can just pop a disk into thier self serve computer and order one hour prints from there.  They never ask what you are doing unless you're using the free standing Picture Maker which needs a code input from the cashier.

I can try to print them out for you. I have a really good printer, it's just begining to run out of ink, but I think it still has some juice left into. If you want to email the pics to me I'll try to print them out (I have good quality photo paper too)

I've ran into that same problem with Wal-Mart!!
I have nieces and nephews that go to Germany to visit their grandma during the summer. Last year they all had a picture taken, and it had a copywright on the back!!  Roll Eyes Wal-mart tore up the picture we printed!!
Then I took it to my local Rite-Aid. Had luck there!! I used on of those do it yourself photo copy center. There was a teenager working behind the counter so she had no idea about copywright!! Do you have a Rite-Aid or Walgreens, Cindy? It might be worth it to try!!  Undecided

These scans don't have a copyright, but Wal-Mart has a policy that if a picture appears to have been taken by a professional studio, you have to provide a written release from the photographer before they'll print the picture.  I just resubmitted the pictures to Wal-Mart online with an order for Christmas photos of the kids.  Maybe they won't notice the Lockhart pictures mixed in. Praying  If that doesn't work, I'll try to find a Walgreen.  There aren't many where I live.

That's really weird.  I've never had that problem either.  But my Wal-mart is always so crowded I guess they don't have time to nitpick everyones photos.

I don't think they would have notice either. It was when I asked for the sleeve to put it in they looked it over!!  Roll Eyes
At Rite-Aid, I asked for the sleeve before the picture was even done printing!! And then verbally told them what I had (2 5X7 etc..) after I had slipped the picture in the sleeve!!  Evil

I don't know yet.  I sent the images to be printed and a few hours later my son came down with a viral infection and very high fever.  I've been home with him ever since.  He's much better today, so I'm hoping to get out this weekend and pick up the pictures.  I'll let you know if I get the Lockhart photos. I never imagined I would ever feel so helpless as when a kid gets sick.  My little boy is one sad sack when he isn't feeling well, and this time the fever really knocked him out. Undecided

Wal-Mart printed the photos!  One came out great, but they didn't do a very good job on the second -- it's not centered and the color is a bit washed out. Undecided  Oh well.  They're good enough for my project. Smiley

Hurray, you got the pictures! Grin  It's a shame they weren't perfect though. Undecided  The moral of the story is to submit the pictures when the store is swamped with Christmas shoppers. Wink

I'm making some of Lockhart's books.  Most of them will be dust jackets, but I've also written his Guide to Household Pests.  I haven't worked out all of the logistics for that book, but I'm getting there. Smiley
