Okay, my one box breakdown  BL2 A11 Kevin Tighe as Anthony Cooper (Lock's Father) auto P1 Kates shirt (nice big blue stripe with white on each side)  So not bad for just one box. I just posted that I want to buy this card possibly for my brother-in-law. The one my husband just pulled will be staying with our collection  My two numbers cards (23 and 42) both have the foil peeling in a very small spot on the bottom. Anyone else have this problem? Would Inkworks replace them? Anyone know how I send them in? |

That is wierd about the promo card...do you think that was some sort of mistake. I have never even heard of that let alone I don't think anyone has pulled one?.?

Inkworks prints promo cards on the same form as base cards - so, from time to time, they slip in. Ok - quite frequently they slip in, but really, it's not a terrible thing. It gets them a little free promotion for the next set to a buyer that might not have taken a second look had they not gotten this 'extra' card...
THe only downside is the person that gets the early card will often try to sell it for ridiculously large sums of money - when in reality it'll eventually be a very common card- but there are those of us that just can't wait *lol*

Yeah there's a NSU-2 card in the price guide that went for just a shade under $50 because it came in a serenity box... the seller played dumb and said "it must be very rare because they had opened X (many) number of boxes and only found one" Clever, and just a shade cheeky when the card would be nearer $3-5 soon after |

Here's my box breakdown. No Veronica Mars promo card for me  ONE set of box toppers - 5 BL1, 4 BL2, 1 BL1 3 sets of 9 card foil puzzles with even distribution - 3,4, or 5 copies of each card NO sets of Number cards. Due to extremely high amount of damages - foil peeling on bottom and severe scratching, I was only able to keep 8 out of 23 cards - all the rest will be on their way to NC shortly PW - 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 Autos - 4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12 Redemptions - Sawyer auto, Kate Auto, Kate Auto'd PW Had there been a Veronica Mars promo card I might not have cussed so much during the breakdown of the case. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. One has certain expectations when purchasing a case of cards - and they were not met with this product, with Serenity or with Charmed. I still have an outstanding redemption from Serenity and noone there will give a straight answer as to when they expect them back - although I've heard a terrible rumor that I won't disclose here. If it's true, I'll cry. I still have outstanding CS issues regarding Charmed as well. So now I have to toss Lost into that melange. Damaged chase, damaged base, redemption cards - I of all people can have sympathy, but as a collector I'm frustrated... |

I got three boxes - I got Walt, Locke's Father and Arzt(signature only :'( ) autos, Sawyer, Jin & Claire Pieceworks. I got all three box loaders, one complete set of the Puzzle chase and I was missing one numbers card. No auto PW redemption. I didn't have any damaged cards, but I did see one card with the fingerprints ROZ spoke of. Weird. I do love the cards though - all of them |

I opened 4 cases of this and got no boxes with 2 PW, yes if you get a autoPW it is an "extra" in the box, but even so you have done extraordinarily well I'm sure you have another auto redemption in there but otherwise you've taken the best out of that case you cheeky monkey  Although as AndyFanLOTR will tell you there's always a chance of a second autoPW in a case, but that never happened to me so I wouldn't know about that |

I think ive done pretty well too...a good intro to buying cases I think ill hunt out that second auto redemption, and decide what to do from there...ive pretty much got all the cards i wanted, except for Sawyer auto and Charlie pw...  |

I'll happily relieve you of some of those pesky boxes if you decide to not open any more I was going to get some more X-Files Connections boxes but since I have gotten all the autos I wanted, its no longer necessary So now I have pack itchy fingers!  |

I have sent off my letter along with the damaged Numbers card and Redemption cards to Inkworks via Priority Mail today. I am confident I will receive replacements and redemptions shortly (both of the cards I had redemptions for are in stock, according to Andy Modlin at Inkworks). I will let everyone know when I get them back! I even had the audacity to "mention" how much I was looking forward to Veronica Mars Just shy of begging for the promo - a girl has to try, right?!?!?! |
