So far we have 2 Viktor costumes, his Triwizard shirt #'ed to 400 It actually says "authentic material used to create one of Victor Krums shirts"

and his other card in either a dark brown or red variation #'ed to 700.  The back says "authentic costume material worn by"  The thing I can't figure out is the brown variation:
The red swatches obviously come from the red over robe he is wearing, but the shirt in this photo is the exact same shirt he wears in the Triwizard tournament.

I was wondering if the brown swatch is actually from this shirt:

It looks like exactly the same color and material type.  You can see it better in the movie than the photo I show.  I noticed it when I saw the film yesterday.  Perhaps they used 2 different costumes to make this card?  They never actually specify which piece of clothing the card is from.  Any thoughts?

I am pretty sure they used two different pieces of his First task champion outfit....much like the Lupin shirt card from POAU where we have the normal Grey with some pinstripes, but also the Brown material. They do not specify on that card either. So I am pretty sure that we have both the Red over robe as well as the brown tunic.

I do not know if you have felt the cards or not...but the shirt material is very soft whereas the 700 costume both the red and brown are kind of tough, and kind of remind me of what a potato sack feels like...Burlap I believe it is called

So i'm confused.  You agree that it's his brown shirt in the last photo?  Or you think it may be from his pants that aren't shown in the 2nd photo?

I haven't seen the cards in real life but I think you are right Kelly.  The darker brown swatch definitely looks like it is from the other shirt.  Unless...... you have an extremely rare bit  Shocked  If you look at Krums light coloured shirt there is a logo.  Most of it is red but the bottom bit and on the wings is a darker brown.  Could be you have a really rare variant  Praying

Well, that's what I was hoping, but there seems to be a lot of brown ones out there.  Plus the actual material is brown.  It's not brown printed on a light brown shirt.   Undecided

Are both cards pieces of his tournement costumes?

Also, I am correct in sayng the 700 numbered one is the material WORN by, right?  I don't think the brown is from that other picture, because that shirt looks like fleece, while the swatch looks more rough.....

As for the one numbered to 400, I do not think we will see any variants, since it was just the material use to create...... Huh

After seeing the pictures from the GOF display that shows all the costumes/props (posted by Darthmactor), I have concluded that the brown swatch is not from any of his shirts, but from his pants that can't be seen in the card picture.  That's my story and I'm sticking with it.  Grin

Yes the 700 print is the actually worn by.  I didn't think of not having varients for "material used in the making of".  I think you're absolutely right.  Tongue

Well, that would explain the rough look of the brown material.  And he has brown pants in both those costume pictures in the display.....I just wonder then, would you all consider this part of his "tournament" costume?  And what task is the scene in that picture on the card?  (the 700 one)

Yes, it sucks.  I thought there would be some nice variants of that shirt, but not if they are just using the material.

I always thought that some of the variations (just like the lupin coat from Update) was because they were putting the other side of the swatch in.?.?

Could the underside of the material be brown and the top of it red?

I don't know that is just what I always thought, I never thought about it as different pieces.  If they were from the pants why wouldn't they have made 350 Krum pants cards instead?  Just throwing it out there.

I know what you mean, but Artbox did confirm that the L:upin one from the update was indeed two different tops/coats.  So I could see them doing it again here.  Possibly because they had the material, but did not want to make too many Krum costumes....
