Hi Rob:
What are the two premiere figures going to be? I went to Sideshows site and there is no mention of what they will be. I used to get their newsletter but I think my spam filter cut them out some time ago so I will have to fix that.

Have you all seen the new Premium Format Figure Lurtz released by Sideshow? It is very costly but outstanding. Sideshow also announced a new line of 12 inch LOTR's figures and the first one is going to be Aragorn available for pre-order this Friday but only if you are a Sideshow newsletter subscriber and have an account set up with them. Check out Sideshow's LOTR's home page for all the news and pictures. You could probably get there off the link Jo posted in the first message on this thread.

The 3rd Quarter is the earliest release for their first 12 inch figure which is of Aragorn. Sideshow also said the second figure of the series - Legolas was a 4th Quarter release.

I am sad... I missed out on ordering the SS exclusive version. I have my name on the wait list for it, but I have never been lucky enough to score anything from a wait list so my hopes aren't too high. There is one selling at $100 right now, but I am not sure if I want to spend that much on it. I think its quite a good likeness of OB though!
