Honestly!  Your kids must win every costume contest they enter.  Grin  I LOVE the Mcgonagall robe, I may need that one for next year.  Also the Dog costume looks great.  He/she looks so happy wearing it.   Cool

Thank you for the kind words regarding my site.  Costumes have always been a big part of our family fun.  We try and dress for all of the major upcoming movies.  As far as contests go.  The predator one was last years halloween costume for our middle son and he won several contests for scariest costume.  Although he kept taking off his mask to show kids he was just a little boy.  He gets pretty scared looking at creepy costumes and he surprised us when he declared he wanted to be the predator.  Leave it to my kids to want to be something you can't buy in stores.  The same year our oldest son was a Ghostbuster and he won for the funniest costume.  We spiked his hair so high he looked as though he had seen a ghost. My husband likes to design the accessories for costumes.  So he does all the armour or in the ghostbuster costume the proton pack.  He gets pretty detailed.  Our daughter only recently wanted to dress in anything other than a princess she is so girly girl that the princess dresses were made in thoughts of her.  She has several of her own.  She is pretty good at picking fabrics and designs for them.  I think this year I am designing The Elf Princess from Lord of the Rings for her.  Again thanks for taking the time to look at my site.

The dog costume was a last minute thing.  Our dog just lays there whenever I sew and I had this really nice Gryffindor patch with nothing to do with it and everyone else was dressing for Halloween so  She went as an Animagus student.  It was a blast.
