Well don't forget to get an early night afterwards folks as we have some serious gunpowder plot celebrating to do on the 5th. My Gran had a secret Treacle Toffee recipe which she was pretty loathe to give to me until her final year of life so I'm all out to celebrate it in style. I haven't seen any interviews with Dan for GoF yet (yeah I don't watch much TV I'm afraid ) so I'm really looking forward to this, although I am a little concerned for him as he's quoted in the papers as having said: "I have no idea what girls like to do on dates... paintballing maybe?" EEP! Let's hope he chooses an outdoorsey type or else she's in for a really rough time

Mike, you seem to be up to date with the interview shows. Could you post when any GOF star will be on shows here in the US?

*psst* it's 'Molasses' Dawn! ... it makes wonderful dark toffee, the kind you feel as though your jaw will break trying to chew it! Don't they use molasses to make dark rum? I've just finished watching Dan - it was very funny and Dan reminded me of someone who has had too much sugar/coffee ... VERY lively almost manic!! LOL Jonathan was quite gentle with him and interviewed him properly and made him laugh too - I do hope one of the HP sites has it on video for you all to watch. What did others think to it?

I haven't seen it all yet but what struck me was what a nice lad he is. It must be really hard to stay grounded with all the fuss around him but his parents/family/friends have done a great job.
I am also impressed with the fact he doesn't moan about being Harry. Too many actors get fantastic rolls and then constantly gripe about being associated with the character. He seemed really at ease about playing Harry and for the first time I actually felt he could go on to other parts - up till now I thought he would drop out of acting after the Potter films.

what a fantastic lad he has grown up to be. He's very articulate and outgoing.
I loved it when Jonathon Ross suggested he did Bond when he "graduates from Hogwarts" (JR REALLY knows his films).
He turned around and said to the audience (when they laughed) that "it's a perfectly reasonable suggestion, I'm suave" (with a wicked smile).
And what would the Potter make up guys say if they saw him doing *that* to his cheeks??
