I came up with that too, but another site states :
c50 - Londinium founded by the Romans; cuts dug out of the river bank serve as quays
So I'll say London (Londinium) was founded by the Romans in 50 AD

I agree with Kate, that is an expensive haircut. If your using American money, the dollar denominations are $1, $5, $10 and $20, so if Jane's haircut was $75, most likely she paid with 4 $20 bills so she should have got back $5.

Not if you live in London I don't think she would get anything back - my hairdresser would sneer at anything less than a £5 tip

On a $75 cut, the stylist should get 10% minimum (15% is customary), so the total becomes $82.50 and she gets back 0.50 - enough to buy 2 gumballs on the way out.

"Do you tip your stylist??" Absolutely! Your hairstylist is the one person I would think you would not want to tee off Unless you like the shaved look...
