Hey everyone! I had a discussion a week or so ago with some of the UK people about what a biscuit is here in America, so I've decided to start a thread for all of us to exchange recipes. I wanted to start with my Nana's biscuit recipe, but now I've lost my cookbook!

I'm sure it's in the kitchen somewhere, but in the meantime I'll start with one I know by heart. It's a VERY easy cheese ball recipe that's quick and perfect to take to holiday parties!

Holday Cheese Ball:
2 8oz. packages of cream cheese
1 8.5 oz can crushed pineapple
2 cups chopped pecans
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons chopped onions
1 tablespoon seasoned salt (Lowry's, Mrs. Dash, or other)
Soften cream cheese, drain pineapple. Stir in DRAINED crushed pineapple, 1 cup of the pecans, green pepper, onion, salt. Chill well. Form into a ball and roll in 1 cup pecans. Garnish with parsley, cherries, pinapple slices.
I leave out the green peppers, I don't like them.
